Taman Ayun was beautiful. A very pretty temple withing lovely, well maintained grounds. Tanah Lot was also beautiful. The monkey place was underwhelming and disappointing, we were also pressured into going to buy a souvenir from the guide heres shop. The dinner was fine, however, our understanding of the packing was that a set menu was provided. We arrived at the restaurant and were given a full menu and told we had to keep it under 200k total or we would have to pay the extra. This was very awkward and disappointing.

Dear Graham Reid,
Thank you for your comment regarding your recent trip with us and following your disappointed we would like to inform you if in the monkey forest our driver already inform you not to buy a souvenir at the shop because they will force you to buy. Regarding the dinner of course the amount you paid for the tour we only paid IDR 200,000 for 2 person at the restaurant as we mention this is a set menu dinner not a buffet dinner where all you can eat.

Gusti was an amazing tour guide. He was so friendly and made us feel so safe and comfortable the whole time. He even stopped off at a coffee farm for us so we could have a coffee testing. I highly recommend this tour and you should ask for a Gusti as your preferred guide!

This beautiful temple tour was made wonderful by having a great tour guide who’s knowledge was extensive.
He made the trip so enjoyable and I felt very safe as a solo traveler.
