Pura Pasar to summit via traverse. Be prepared for a challenging night but a great sunrise reward at the top. Darta was excellent, great to deal directly with the guide and support local. Follow instructions on what to bring, water, snacks and warm clothes essential. Darta was focussed on safety, attentive and paced the climb perfectly as well as being great company, all in all a great trip and highly recommend Darta

Before Mount Agung erupted I had an opportunity to trek up the 10,000 foot volcano with Wayan as my guide. His friend Nyoman helped me pack my camera & drone gear up the mountain. Having read all his excellent reviews I decided to book with Wyan as my guide for what I hoped to be an epic adventure.
I was staying in Ubud and Mount Agung is on the eastern coast of Bali about an hour and half away. Wyan picked me up at my hotel promptly at 10 p.m. and we rode to the Temple to being our trek around Midnight. I wanted to leave earlier than he normally would because I just wasn't sure I could make it to the summit of Agung. At 10,000 feet, we would begin from the Temple located at about 4,000 feet on the volcano's mountainside. Nyoman was suggested by Wyan as a good porter to help me with my gear and a drone for shooting the sunrise from above the caldron. Listening to Wyan's advice, I paid additional money to hire Nyoman and it was a smart choice on my part. I'm 53 and in excellent shape, but, I've never climbed a mountain and Agung is a very challenging stratavolcano. We also took a unique path across an area of Agung that had calved away during its 1964 eruption. This is definitely not a climb for the weak or out of shape tourist. After saying our prayers at the temple, we began our hike to the summit. Wyan speaks excellent English, while Nyoman and I mostly smiled at each other. Carrying my backpack, Wyan made sure I was comfortable and we took breaks at different points along the mountain.
Reaching the summit, Wyan and Nyoman helped me launch and land my drone and cooked me a wonderful breakfast of banana pancakes on the hot rock of the volcano. Coffee, boiled egg and banana sure tasted wonderful in the freezing air at the top of Bali's highest mountain. The photos speak for themselves as to what I saw.
At all times Wyan was attentive, professional and prompt. His experience and knowledge on the mountain and getting around on the narrow roads of Bali was beyond reproach. His fee was very competitive with every tour driver and guide I priced in Bali, but, few of those I spoke with could speak english as well as Wyan. His reviews were spot on and I can't offer anything but the highest praise for my time with him. After climbing a volcano, you gain respect for the guy showing you how to do it and where to step, don't step, and hang onto. Because of Wyan's help I was able to accomplish a personal goal that I'll never forget!

Wir sind für 14 Tage nach Bali geflogen um uns die Insel und all die schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten anzuschauen. Mein Traum war es den Mt. Agung hochzuwandern und bei der Suche im Internet bin ich auf Wayan Dartha Trekking gestoßen. Ich habe seine Handynummer auf seiner Webseite gefunden und Ihn über WhatsApp kontaktiert. Wayan teilte mir mit, dass es derzeit nicht möglich wäre den Mt. Agung zu besteigen, da er aktuell gesperrt sei, aufgrund von Eruptionen.
Alternativ bat er mir an den Mt. Batur hochzuwandern und im Anschluss eine WildWaterRafting Tour zu machen. Zusätzlich hatten wir über verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten gesprochen und ob er auch Tagestouren anbietet. Dementsprechend musste ich Wayan nur sämtliche Orte/Tempel etc. mitteilen, sie wir sehen wollten und er plante für uns 5 komplette Tagestouren. Wir haben uns folgende Orte angeschaut/ besucht:
Tegenungan Water Falls
Holly Cave Tempel
Tegal Lalang Rice Terraces and the jungle swing
Goa Lawah Temple
Tirta ganga water place
Lempuyang temple
Penelokan
Hot spring water places
Besakih temple
Ulun danu beratan temple
Jati luwih

Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Wir sind auf den Mt. Batur gewandert und danach haben wir eine 17 km lange WildWaterRafting Tour gemacht (Wayan ist sogar mitgefahren).
Morgens wurden wir immer pünktlich von Wayan gegen 08:00 Uhr abgeholt, der Jeep hat eine Klimaanlage und ist sehr komfortabel.
Wir hatten bei sämtlichen Besuchen/Orten immer ausreichend Zeit und Wayan hat uns alles erklärt und stand uns immer unterstützend zur Seite. Wir haben jeden Tag mit ihm genossen und hatten unfassbar viel Spaß. Das war der schönste Urlaub den wir bis dato gemacht haben. Wir können Wayan nur wärmstens empfehlen, wenn man Bali kennen lernen möchte. Es war wirklich alles perfekt geplant. Wayan richtet sich voll und ganz nach den Wünschen seiner Kunden. Zusätzlich hat er viele Fotos als Erinnerungen für uns geschossen und wenn wir schwimmen waren z.B. beim Wasserfall Kanto Lampo hat er auf unsere Sachen/Kameras/Handys aufgepasst. Wayan ist wirklich ein sehr liebenswerter Mensch und man hat echt super viel Spaß mit ihm.
Wir haben uns daher immer, wirklich immer rundum sicher und gut aufgehoben gefühlt und können Wayan sehr empfehlen.
Danke Wayan für Alles, du hast unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht!
