Nael was our tour guide and provided a good experience and good information. He is friendly, helpful, and was able to answer our questions. He took many pictures of us as we are not selfie proficient. The tour was interesting. We learned more about the history of Surabaya and were able to see things in a day that we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own.

A great tour with Lelia! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to experience Surabaya in a limited amount of time but we felt that we were experiencing the local culture.

Great guide with good English (Nabiilah) and professional driver (Fauzy) who provided everything we requested on our private itinerary. We worked with Vincent, the owner of Trippy Trip, to arrange our one-day visit of Surabaya. We learned a lot and were able to take lots of photos.
We travel a lot throughout the world, and this was one of the better private day tours for ease of making the arrangements and the tour company’s exceeding expectations.

With Aditya our guide made a nice tour of Surabaya, seen a lot and a good nice guide. The old town, the heroes monument, the 4 faced budha and some temples.

We had a beautifull citytour with Aditya our guide. A good driver. He showed us a lot, old town, Joko Dolog, Chinatown, the Heroes monument and temples and the submarine monument. A friendly, nice guide and a good tour.

It was a very interesting tour. We saw the 4 Brahma Statue Arts, Vihara Sanggar Agung, Museum 10 November, Balai Pemuda, the Surabaya Submarine Monument, European Quarter, Arabian Quarter, and the Chinese Quarter. Our tour guide, Salsa and our driver, Raya were friendly and informative. My husband and i enjoyed ourselves very much.

It is an excellent tour that gives you the vibrant feel of the culture and history that Surabaya is so rich in. Out guide Neil was so full of knowledge and he was so friendly. It was an enjoyable experience that gave us an experience of so many facets of Indonesian history and Culture.

Our first problem was that I thought I was paying in Australian $$, but it turned out to be US $$ which added 50% to the bill. Just check your currency!
The organisation of our tour was good, the guide got in touch with us the day before to introduce himself and turned up on time to pick us up at our hotel. The car was big, comfortable and air conditioned.
Our guide, who I won’t name, did not give us much information at all. He said he was very shy and it showed. He was a sweet young student. The driver appeared not to speak English, but he drove safely and was pleasant.
Our favourite place was the Arab quarter where we were able to buy some delicious food to nibble but we were only taken to one street. We also enjoyed the Chinese temple. The museums were frankly boring. We were not taken to the fish market, the Chinese quarter or a mosque. We chose not to go shopping for souvenirs.
In conclusion, for the three of us (in our 70s) this tour was not very exciting or good value.
