Upphämtning från hotellet 04.00 funkade bra. Framme strax efter 06.00 för byte till jeep med guide. Vilken fantastisk guide, uppmärksammade djur som aldrig skulle sett själva. Flyttade jeepen för perfekta foton. Tiden flög iväg. Såg många olika djur och fåglar. Åter från safari, en god lunch med bra lokala inslag. Sedan resa åter till hotellet, chauffören berättade mycket intressant om trakten och landet. Kan rekommendera detta.

An early morning start, 4am pickup from the hotel. So worth it for a magnificent sunrise in Yala reserve. The jeep itself was part of the fun, some serious off-roading! We were so lucky to see 3 different leopards. The best one we were with no other jeeps around us, saw a leopard go into a bush and waited as the safari guide said he might cross in front of us. Sure enough, he was within metres of us as he ran across our path. Very cool moment.
We also saw a mongoose, elephants, lizards, buffalo,vdome stunning birds. We had a great time.
To top it off after about 4 hours safari we were taken to Red restaurant for lunch, 3 courses. Best food we had outside of the hotel, stunning Sri Lanka curry -7 dishes, be warned.
Trip booked on Viator used agent BMT Sri Lanka. Very professional, giving us information through whatsapp. We had a private driver Dinesh who was like lovely and kept us cool with bottled water and a nice air conditioned car. Tip top trip, a highlight of the holiday.

To top it off after about 4 hours safari we were taken to Red restaurant for lunch, 3 courses. Best food we had outside of the hotel, stunning Sri Lanka curry -7 dishes, be warned.

Hav been on a safari tour to yala, over rated!! Over priced !!!!!
If you’re looking to see water buffalo and peacocks and hundreds of safari jeeps tearing around like headless chickens. Then this is the place for you

This was the first time we’ve been on a safari so don’t have anything to compare it with. We had an early start and then we got to the Safari about 6 am. There were lots and lots of other fans and vehicles, it took quite awhile to get into the park. We are very lucky that we saw an elephant at the entrance. It did take awhile to see other animals but we did happen to see Buffalo’s deer,peacocks,crocodile, we saw the leopards laying on the rock although it wasn’t very clear for photos we saw monkeys, monitors. yeah it was an amazing day but very long but well worth the visit if you come to Sri Lanka, it’s a must,

This trip was great, communication was excellent, driver and guide arrived on time, pick up from the hotel at 0400 hrs in an air-conditioned people carrier. on entering the vehicle, bottles of water provided.
Fabulous experience from start to finish, unable to find anything negative about this tour.
Arriving in Yala, we were offered fresh breakfast prior to being taken on the safari
Private jeep tour of Yala with an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable about the animals in the park.
In the morning we were lucky enough to see several leopards, we were informed how lucky we were seeing leopards, apparently, they’re very discreet.
Lunch, drinks & fresh fruits were provided in a safe place within Yala park.
The safari driver/guide was really knowledgeable and helped us to see many, animals throughout the day, we witnessed numerous species, elephants, crocodiles, peacocks, deer, and monkeys to name a few.
This tour is highly recommended

Excellent day from start to finish. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was very good with a good choice. Our guide for the safari was brilliant and we saw a large variety of animals with the group of elephants surrounding the jeep made the day. Wife did manage to catch the back end of a leopard as it disappeared into the bush.

Great safari, transport from Bentota to Yala, very good and pleasant driver.
Lunch break in a restaurant excellent food and very good service. And finally the safari, Great Guide, respect for animals and my desires.
The safari vehicles are great.

Had a great experience with BTM, contacted them via their web page, quick response and very helpful. Booked trip to Yala and from the booking to return to hotel everything was great. Clear details provided, name of driver , car details provided evening before, Driver to Yala was great, lunch was much better than expected, 3 courses with choices, i went for the Sri Lankan curry which was very good. Yala was amazing, our safari driver was very good and we were lucky enough to see a leopard, and the elephants having fun at the watering hole was a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Great safari. Our guide was brilliant. Saw lots- elephants, buffalo, loads of crocs and birds. Really lucky to see a leopard. The park was quiet only 5 jeeps around when the leopard was spotted. Our driver was fantastic at getting us the best spot to see the animals. The whole day from start to finish was brilliant. From the driver , Dinesh, to the lunch/coffee stop. Well worth the long drive and early (4.30!) start. 🐆🐆🐘🐘

Cannot recommend BTM more highly. Professional, reliable and helpful. Communication is very easy with Sam himself via WhatsApp at almost anytime!
It’s a big day but the park is alive with wildlife…..we were even lucky enough to see a leopard!!!
