I always had the dream of taking a safari and now came the opportunity. I asked for budgets from several companies and chose Wanderer Tanzania because the cost/quality of the accommodation was the most interesting in addition to responding quickly and adapting the 5 days of safari to my budget. Everything was 5 stars from the various transfers, to accommodation and global organization of the trip. We visit Manyara, Serengeti, Ndutu and the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide was Juma, whose experience and sympathy were an added value. Thanks to him we were able to see the Big Five and a spectacular hunt of 3 chicks to a gnu. As it was the time of birth we saw countless puppies, of elephants, lions, chitas, gnus, zebras etc...a wonder...
Then and at our request we marked 4 days in Nungwi and another 4 days in Jambiani, at Savera Beach House that was paradisiac...
In summary: excellent organization, acceptable value and a memorable experience that I will keep forever...

Great experience! They thought of everything for our safari in Tanzania + stay in Zanzibar. We found them by chance online and after comparing different travel agencies we relied on them for their responsiveness in answering all our questions and incredible flexibility in organizing everything according to our wishes and needs. We went on a couple's safari, with driving and off-road all to ourselves and full board at bargain prices (options that we absolutely recommend). They took care of all the movements, including to and from the airport. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro and our guide, Nobert, showed us and explained the habits and behaviors of the animals. His sympathy and helpfulness made the experience even more incredible. It was like a movie! We are really happy to have relied on them and would recommend it to anyone! Grazie The wanderer ❤️

We had the most incredible trip to Tanzania with Wanderer. They could not of been more attentive, friendly and communicative. We appreciated the flexibility of organising our own itinerary, we loved having a private guide and all of the accommodations we stayed at were a fantastic experience.
Highly recommend booking through Wanderer, from the booking team to the operational team, it was all very smooth.
Our guide Lothi was superb, we really enjoyed his company, he was super knowledgeable and made the trip a great experience!
For us the Central Serengeti was a highlight 😊

Absolutely incredible experience! We organized our honeymoon with the Wanderer and left more than satisfied. The level of attention and professionalism was outstanding, from beginning to the end. The booking process was super easy and I appreciated the high responsiveness of Koen. We were extremely satisfied with the tour and choice of accommodations. They also shared plenty of information before the trip, which made me feel in good hands. Our welcome to Tanzania was super warm, Norbert took great care of us, provided us with a full briefing of the trip and we were positively surprised to get small goodies for the trip. Also our driver, Juma, was incredible: apart from being the best spotter of animals, he made us feel comfortable and safe even with the sometimes extreme road conditions. He also taught us a lot about the country, culture, animals and a bit of Swahili - Asante!
Overall, I’d definitely book with the Wanderer again and can recommend their services.

I can’t put into words how incredible our trip with this agency was. The hospitality and care they provided were outstanding, with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional choices for our accommodations. The entire experience was truly unforgettable, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Juma, our driver, was exceptional—kind, professional, and attentive, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable throughout. Norbert was equally kind, reliable, and accommodating. I highly recommend their services without hesitation—they truly made our trip extraordinary.

Where do I begin… from start to finish our trip with The Wanderer Tanzania Safari was amazing. Juma was very knowledgable and tried his best to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see and we did!! We managed to see all of the big 5 and close up too. We got so many wonderful photos, videos and made memories that will last a lifetime. We were surrouded by elephants one day to watching a wilderbeast give birth the next! It truly was the perfect start to our honeymoon. All accommodation, food and staff were so friendly and couldn’t do any more for you. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking to do a safari. Thank you again!!!!!

We had the most wonderful time we could imagine:) our tour started with Norbert and a great hike to the waterfall before we set off on a fantastic 6 day safari with Malley. We have experienced so many incredible beautiful moments, seen so many animals and had a great time with Malley. The lodges were great.
Finally we flew to Zanzibar and had a great mix of experiences and peace.

Absolutely incredible trip!!!! This was the honeymoon of dreams we can’t recommend enough.
We chose the wanderer Tanzania to organise our honeymoon. They were fantastic from start to finish. Koen offered us a detailed itinerary with a wide range of activities. Very speedy replies while organising and so flexible fitting our schedule around what we wanted and what time we had, can’t thank Koen enough for sorting out the best itinerary. They could accommodate our wishes of safari and Zanzibar, animals and cultural elements, relax and adventure!
The transfers from airport were seamless, our guide Norbet met us in the early hours at Kilimanjaro airport and again back to Arusha and Zanzibar internal flight too!
The accommodation throughout our time in Tanzania was outstanding, some of the best places we’ve stayed. The service from staff and the food were incredible.
The guides were great on our hike up napuru waterfalls on our first day to fight the jet lag. Great explore round Arusha from the car and through the village, impressive waterfall at the end of the hike and enjoyable even in the rain.
Our safari guide Richie was absolutely phenomenal. Richie knew SO much about the landscape the plants the animals and could answer every possible question we threw at him!. He even knows all their favourite hide out spots, and was able to show us the big 5! His driving in difficult conditions was brilliant and stopped us from getting stuck, even in the slippiest wet roads as it was the small rains season. Richie is 100% the best tour guide ever you must book with him :).
We ended our trip with a 5 days on Zanzibar, we stayed at Savera beach houses in Jambiani it was fantastic, beautiful building and location and so private and luxurious. It was the only place with evening food as extra but was delicious and we had an incredible meal for Christmas Eve! Yummy cocktails too! We tried a couple of local restaurants for dinner which was fab.
Overall 100000% recommend, such a fantastic holiday made the best by our guides!

We booked our safari with Wander Tanzania, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Even though we booked last minute, they managed to find the perfect combination of accommodations and itinerary for us. Every lodge and camp we stayed at was beautiful and exceeded our expectations.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, making every moment of the safari enjoyable and enriching. The vehicle was in excellent condition and perfectly suited for the adventure.
We highly recommend Wander Tanzania for anyone planning a safari – they truly made our trip unforgettable!

The Wanderer Tanzania planned for us a 13 day adventure where we were completely surprised, the trip consisted of 6 beautiful days Safari where we visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Eyasi, Ndutu, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Carter led by the experienced and very enthusiastic Juma who clearly enjoys his work as a guide. We have seen all but the leopard and each area was absolutely unique in its own impressive characteristics. Along the way we slept in very neat and beautiful accommodations and were served delicious meals. After these very impressive beautiful safari days we were taken by our guide Juma to the airport in Arusha where his colleague Victor was waiting for us to help check in for our flight to Zanzibar. At Zanzibar airport we were met again by a driver who took us to our accommodation there. In Zanzibar we stayed 5 nights at the beautiful Marifiki beach & spa hotel right on the beach where it is wonderful to relax and they serve delicious dishes. Tonight we are picked up by a taxi organized by The Wanderer Tanzania which takes us to the airport of Zanzibar for our return trip to the Netherlands.
This trip was for us a very beautiful impressive adventure where we ENJOYED every minute and where everything was arranged so we didn't have to think about anything. Thanks so much Koen
