The guide had excellent knowledge. He was patient and able to explain the visit well. The lunch was added bonus.

Incredibly helpful people all around. Booked two trips as a Canakkale walk-in. First day was a simple treat. Beautiful ferry ride across the Hellespont for a lunch by the water. Then a mini bus which effortlessly moved between important battle sites. Our guide was impressive. He knew, and loved, history. He knew every event and every name of all the protagonists involved in the battles.
Day two was an equally rewarding half day trip to Troy. Same guide. He was even more knowledgeable about the history of this ancient city. His grasp of historic detail and his excellent English allowed for more than a ‘canned’ tour. He was very happy to expand on Troy’s influence an all aspects of history through the ages. Excellent!

Great tour. Well worth the money. Our guide Ercan was amazing, with 16 years experience he had so much to offer on this tour and so much knowledge on both Troy and Gallipoli. We were hooked on every word. The tour started with Troy and the guide clearly had inside knowledge on the workings of current archaeology, you don't get this on normal big tours. After this we were given an amazing lunch with an ocean view after a ferry ride. Then we were taken the beaches of Gallipoli after an introduction at the museum. The guide clearly put a lot of thought into the order of the day. 100% recommended. Best guide we ever had and we have been on many tours.

We can only recommend these great trips both to Gallipoli and Troy with Hassle free. They did a great effort to make our tours possible and with Ercan we had an incredibly competent guide who knows every single detail of the thousands of years of the region's history and can explain it to you very well in perfect English! Thank you very much for this nice experience.

Let me just start by saying that if it wasn’t for Ezgi at Hassle Free Travel, our trip would have been a disaster. From the point where I first enquired about the day trip to Troy and Gallipoli, she was incredibly helpful and patient and made excellent recommendations. She knows how to maximize your schedule and will offer suggestions on how to make your trip better. When our flight got delayed back to Istanbul, she was able to quickly arrange a driver to get us back to Istanbul and we made our flight back to the US. She is a huge asset if you’re planning a trip to Istanbul or to the Canakkale region. Our trip would not have been successful without her expertise. Our day trip to Troy and Gallipoli was arranged by Hassle Free and it was fascinating. Our guide was EXCELLENT! Highly recommend Hassle Free and Ezgi! Thank you for everything you did for us Ezgi!!

I thoroughly enjoyed both the Troy tour with Mustafa Aşkın and the Gallipoli tour with Abdurrahim Boz. Mustafa is very experienced having grown up in Troy and has written a very clear book on the legend and history around Troy. I especially enjoyed the Gallipoli with tour with Abdurrahim. He is extremely knowledgeable on all the key locations and events, and presented a balanced view of the Gallipoli battle. As an Australian I appreciated the way it was presented, and while it was a sobering tour, I really appreciated the time to see the key sites. I would highly recommend this tour!

I learned so much from the tour guides, they were both very eloquent and knowledgeable about the sites. Apo made sure that we had all the time and photos we wanted at each stop and as I was a solo traveller he made sure I got back to my hotel safely. If you want a great tour in a safe hands I would recommend.

My partner and I wanted to spend some more time in cannakale rather than do a rushed day trip from istanbul, so i emailed the company direct to enquire.
within 5 mins had a detailed reply and organised transfer from istanbul, anzac day tour one day, and troy tour the following day.
It was very stress free knowing all our transport etc was taken care of.
Our guide Apo knew everything there was to know about Gallipoli and gave very good information from both sides of the battle, and showed us a few specific ANZAC graves.
The troy tour was also quite good.
We saw lots and had plenty of spare time to relax. Cannakale is a beautiful area and definitely worth the visit.

We had two incredibly knowledgeable guides for the two tours. Our guide Mustafa took us around the excavation sight of Troy, and he was fantastic. He bought the ancient ruins to life, we could easily visualise how city looked and how the Trojans lived.
Apo was our Gallipoli guide. We learnt more on this tour then we ever did in high school history class back in New Zealand. Apo knew everything about the campaign, down to the full names and battalions of every influential solider from both sides of the battle.

Fanáticos de la historia. Esta excursión los dejará fatigados, podrán presenciar los campos donde se dieron innumerables encuentros bélicos. Por un lado en Troy, donde griegos y los ciudadanos de la primera mencionada dieron lugar a historias sumamente enriquecedoras a lo que se refiere la actualidad. Sucesos como la utilización del famoso caballo de Troya para lograr el ingreso a la ciudadela troyana por parte de Agamenón, Aquiles y otros. Las impenetrables murallas y, Paris en su enfrentamiento con Menelao.
Por el otro lado Gallipoli, al otro extremo de los Dardanelos. Lugar donde se dieron batallas decisorias en el transcurso de la 1° Guerra Mundial entre diversos países. Allí se encuentran distintas monumentos y conmemoración a los participantes de las mencionadas batallas.
