Absolutely fantastic tour! Right from the word go, Peter was incredibly helpful and flexible, working with us to plan our perfect adventure. Our trip had to be postponed for 2 years due to Covid but Buyaga's communication was excellent and helped guide us through all the extra complications re Covid.
Peter's organisation during the trip was spot on. Permits and tickets arranged perfectly, all accommodation was wonderful and we felt very safe during all the travelling. Peter was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited and great to chat to whilst also allowing plenty of time to ourselves. Really fun guide.
We would not hesitate to recommend Buyaga Safaris - Excellent value for money - just perfect from start to finish! Thank you so much.

The trip started positive, however they changed our hotel the night before travel despite booking sanctuary gorilla forest lodge from the outset. Instead they wanted to place us in an average hotel, with no refund and claimed this was due to permits. Our permits were supposed to be bought 3 months before our travels and paid for in full so why the night before it there all of a sudden permit issue.
This whole issues caused unnecessary stress and was not the trip we had paid for or had been originally organised.

We admit the change in the hotel and we gave the best alternative. The clients were two and paid 1650 US dollars each and requested for Mweya Safari Lodge which we provided and later we failed to honor our promise of taking them to Sanctuary gorilla Lodge due to miscommunication during gorilla permits booking and realized the mistake late. We therefore had to book another lodge since permits had already been printed and rescheduling was not possible given the little time left. We therefore had to change their lodge from Sanctuary gorilla Lodge to Rushaga Gorilla Camp which the client didn't like. We sincerely apologize for what happened and we are determined to address the matter in future bookings with us. You may contact us on info@buyagasafarisafrica.com for more information .
