We booked a "Just for the Ride" half day MTB tour with Heaven and Earth and loved it. My husband and I are both experienced road cyclists and we found the off road sections to be super enjoyable as well as scenic. The countryside was lovely to ride in and Pascal gave us a good overview of the history of the area and answered any questions with knowledge and fun. Highly recommended for an active tour of Hoi An! I would gladly do another tour for sure!

Mountain biking with Pascal was a lot of fun, and a great way to see the countryside around Hoi An. We biked through fields, villages, and forests, waved hello to farmers harvesting their crops, encountered cattle and water buffalo (from a distance), and got a nice workout. The route is 'easy' mountain biking - flat, no specific experience required - but you should be in decent shape for 45km / five hours of continuous riding, and prepared to get splattered with mud. :-)
Pascal is a great guide - well prepared, friendly and funny, and clearly knows and loves the area. Hoi An itself often feels quite 'touristy', so getting out to spend some time in nature was a literal breath of fresh air. Heaven and Earth seems to be the only major bike tour company operating out of Hoi An post-pandemic, and they're a great option - from my experience with this tour I'm confident that their other tours will be authentic and thoughtful as well.
Pascal is a great guide - well prepared, friendly and funny, and clearly knows and loves the area. Hoi An itself often feels quite 'touristy', so getting out to spend some time in nature was a literal breath of fresh air. Heaven and Earth seems to be the only major bike tour company operating out of Hoi An post-pandemic, and they're a great option - from my experience with this tour I'm confident that their other tours will be authentic and thoughtful as well.

I went on the Croft half-day tour with two other people and Tuyen, our guide. She was so sweet and was competent on the bike. I really enjoyed the intimate tour. There was time to talk and learn more about the local culture and countryside activities. I especially loved the bits of singletrack we zipped along and the bamboo bridges. I found the grade to be easy (green) mountain biking. The bikes were in pretty good condition other than balding tires, but for the grade of riding we were doing, it was totally fine. Some of the roads were muddy, so be prepared to have extra fun! It was all part of the adventure and I had a great time. Thanks to Tuyen for being a rockstar guide!

We really enjoyed our Mountain Bike ride with Tuyen, who was a lovely, friendly and lively tour guide. This tour was one of the rare occasions we felt we were off the tourist trail and it felt like an authentic experience. We would highly recommend both Tuyen and this company! :)

The easiest and best place to book all your tours for Hoi An! Great staff and prices. I am a bike tour leader and I did the mountain bike tour and it was such an adventure through rice paddies, jungle and countryside. Not too strenuous but have to be in good shape, not for small kids. They have other tours for that. Bikes were in very good condition and we tested them through mud water and bumpy terrain. Our guides were knowledgeable and fun!!

Absolutely the highlight of our stay in Hoi An, if you have a spare day I highly recommend you try one of the tours. The team were great at arranging our booking, with great communication regarding availability. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with great bikes too. The company and our guide were great. The route took us away from the tourists into rural Vietnam across rickety bridges, past fishermen, boat builders, lotus ponds and farmers working paddy fields. The riding wasn't difficult or technical - this is an off-road tour not an adrenaline experience, and our guide paced the ride well to our abilities. The bike was a decent modern mountain bike.

We are 4 middle age mountain bikers from New Zealand and despite the heat we booked the 70+km ,all day ride with Pascal and Tuyen.
The only description I have of the day was a BLAST!
The actual biking wasn't too technical ...some single track stuff up and down hill which was exciting. Also forest tracks, quiet roads and plenty of scenery, villages, and country people. We went places and saw things that the average tourist misses and we want to thank Pascal and his very able and delightful assistant Tuyen for all their information and explanations of our many questions.
Although we are all reasonably fit bikers and managed the 72 km (according to my GPS) without stress, Pascall will modify the actual route taken depending on fitness so don't think you won't be able to manage it.
We spent 10 days in Hoi an and agree that this day was the BEST DAY!
Needless to say we highly recommend this activity and will return to Hoi an and do another tour with Pascal and Tuyen.

Just back from a fab 45km mtb ride with mega-guide Tuyen and a couple of American chaps (Sean & Alex). Saw some really interesting daily life stuff; paddy fields, village arches, water buffalo, some fantastically terrifying bridges, & the locals partying 👍👍👍- Tuyan had loads of info to tell us.
Huge plus for a really satisfying big chunk of laugh out loud natural singletrack fun - still can't stop smiling - even though a tree bit me (my fault) - at least a part of me will always stay in Hoi An 😂😂😂 - riding where you don't need to look for features - the features come looking for you!!!
Bikes are fairly basic hardtails but get the job done.
Tuyan is a riding goddess, and she sings in echoing underpasses just like I like to 😘
Book it!
