False advertising for a class that you don’t need reservations for! ☹️ There are many REAL classes for less money

Even after we paid and got a confirmation message the business messaged me last minute telling me that their class was already full. I explained that we already paid, received confirmation and already arranged transportation to the pottery village but this didn’t really make a difference. I canceled the class and we visited pottery village on our own (because we had already arranged transportation!). It turns out nearly every shop in pottery village offers classes (for much cheaper than this company!) and you do not need reservations for most of the classes either. We ended up taking a class with a different studio and had a great time (for a fraction of the cost of the class we originally booked and had to cancel). I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because they were at least polite - despite wasting my time and offering classes that weren’t actually available. I wouldn’t recommend booking this class, just pay the ticket to get into pottery village and find your own class - there are many to choose from!

Dear Ms. Jessica Trayner, First of all, thank you very much for your interest our tour. Unfortunately, we were fully booked at the time you booked and we made a full refund to you. We are very sorry that you didn’t have any experience in our tour. However, you joined in experience with another supplier but you took the time to share your feedback about our tour. Therefore, your review is not objective and realistic review. You had only 20 minutes in a different studio without tour guide and not much activities. While our tour’s duration is more 2 hours and there are a lot of interesting activities with professional tour guide follow clearly schedule as below: - You will have an excellent opportunity to witness the process of creating beautiful ceramic products from talented and skillful artisans. Discover traditional and unique method of making pottery - which manually shapes pottery by hand, foot pedal without using molds and their products are not enameled or heated by a traditional wood kiln. - Visit Thanh Ha Terra Cotta Park including entrance ticket - Enjoy tea break with Vietnamese tea and local Hoi An cake. - Visit Thanh Ha old village and Xuan My temple to see the villagers male pottery. Tour guide will tell more information about history, culture and development of Thanh Ha Pottery Village. - Join in Making Pottery Class to make pottery product by yourself - Receive a pottery gift All of the above make a different in our tour.
