This was a great day adventure to see the sights in Hue. It was hard to decide which places to visit on our own and our tour guide was excellent.

My friend and I greatly enjoyed this tour. We had Sue as our guide. She was extremely knowledgable about the history of the area, site and Vietnam more broadly.
The driver and car were also excellent and made for a comfortable ride.
We took many tours in Vietnam but this was the best - understanding the story behind the Vietnamese royal family are really a must to appreciate the nation's rich history.

My partner and I booked the night before and were the only two people on the tour. We got the recommendation from a different tour guide (Tam) and booked directly through the Hoi An Express site.
Snow is super funny and very knowledgeable about Vietnamese history. We stopped at Hai Van Quan and saw the fort remnants and lookout. In Hue we took a dragon boat to the Thien Mu pagoda and then headed to the Imperial City. Snow taught us a lot about the emperors of Vietnam, especially the penultimate emperor, Khai Dinh. We had a lovely set lunch near the imperial city, saw the resting place of Khai Dinh and headed back to Danang.
I thought this tour was 5-stars because Snow provided such a rich history of Vietnam, its rulers, the French, etc. She was also hilarious. Good laughs and good times were had.

The tour was perfect. The trip turned out to be a private one as we were only 2 and our guide (Snow) delivered everything we were promised. She was super nice.

Great tour of the palace. Long drive and hot but well worth it. Very informative guide.The pagoda and the Emporers burial site was also good. Our guide was very knowledgable and spoke very good English. A very friendly person. The meal at the restaurant was first class as was the service, we loved eating like local and the garden was beautiful. The driver was also accomodating and was prepared to stop if you wished to take photos. He also did a nice tour of Danang as an extra. Value for money and highly recommended, especially for history and amazing views. Remember it’s a very long drive although it’s worth giving a try.

The day tour consists of visiting the palace, tomb of the emperor, temple and a couple of viewing rests along the way, very inspiring. A nice lunch was provided at a local restaurant. The guide did a great job introducing and explaining along the way.
We were picked up from Hoi An, joined by more guests from Da Nang.
The day was sizzling hot and the air conditioning from the bus barely made its job. The sun was scorching so a straw hat and/or umbrella is a must.
