We recently took part in a game drive and rhino walk tour in Mosi oa Tunya national park. There were only two of us on this tour and we paid 64USD each.
The guides drove above 40kmh inside the national park, in addition to driving off the roads, which was clearly quite stressful for the wildlife. They also both spent a lot of time on their phones, seemingly taking other bookings.
After the rhino walk section of the tour, they suggested we tip the two rangers who protect the rhino. This is a completely fair suggestion but we decided to decline as we had already spent a lot on this tour. After this, our guide stopped sitting with us and barely spoke with us.
Additionally, we were under the impression that tea/coffee and a light snack were served, as stated on TripAdvisor - this was not the case; we were served water and one cold soft drink purchased at a gas station on the way to the park. The tour also arrived later than we were told and we finished earlier than expected.
Finally, one guide threw a stick at a crocodile, for no other reason than to "show us how big it was". This was both uneccessary and hugely disrespectful.

We regret that you had an unpleasant experience and we take this moment to express our heartfelt apology. The day you conducted the activity all our vehicle had gone on private tours and we had subcontract another tour operator to do the activity on our behalf. This of course is not an excuse and does not expiate the unfortunate occurrence but we bring it across to highlight our position with regards to the same and to bring to the fore that Egret Travel and Tours vows and abides to a professional work conduct and ethic.
In light of this incident , and to avert such from recurring , we will see to it that in an event of a sudden booking and during the absence of our vehicles and where we have to subcontract , we will involve our guide in the dispensation of the tour .
We sincerely apologize for this occurrence and we have put measure that such will never happen or repeat its self.
