A Great day in Kanazawa

We were on a half day tour with Sachiko Nakai
With Kanazawa Tours. Sachiko spoke very good English and she really knew her history this area. It was a hot day so she did her best to keep us cool. I would highly recommend her and the tour company.

A perfekt day in Kanazawa

We made a tour with Sachiko and is was a great experience! She is funny and lovely and we had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Kanazawa! We would recommend this tour to everyone!

Wonderful private tour in Kanazawa

Many many thanks for a wonderful tour yesterday!, You tailor made our tour to perfectly fit our interests in architecture, history, culture and crafts. The Geish district was fascinating and your great knowledge of all of this was invaluable, insightful and humorous. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Wagasa Kasamouri the Japanese umbrella maker and Ohta San design and art silk artist both of whom displayed their great skills and experience which they generously shared with us. You brought the Samouri house to life by sharing some our your family history - and of course gold ice cream and Sake tasting went down well too!!

A tour that gives you a loth of insights and beautiful views.

We did really appreciate this tour by Withlocals. It did give you a insight inte the Edo-time culture and the living conditions of the samurai group. The samurai quarters were very well preserved and our visit inside of a couple of the intact house and their beautiful gardens small and large ones. Also the visit to the old geisha part of the town and to listen to the stories of this tradition and sad situation just after the war was interesting. Equally nice was the walk in the extremely breathtaking royal garden. It really was a fantastic park. Our guide Monse was a very kind and knowledge person that we liked very much not just a guide, but as a person. We can really recommend her.

Our special day with Sachiko

We did the tour with Sachiko, a very knowledgeable, friendly and sunny person. Very interesting and suggestive destinations. She explained many things to us and revealed some curiosities of Kanazawa. We had lunch in a very nice place that she had booked especially for us. It was a beautiful day and at the end she sent us many photos and a video to remind us of the time spent together!

Excellent private tour.

Very enjoyable tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable with an excellent level of English. She was very helpful with our slight mobility issues and we saw and learnt far more than if we had simply visited ourselves

Excellent Full Day Tour in Kanazawa

We had an excellent day with Sachiko. She took us to the Oyama Shrine, Samurai district, all 3 Geisha districts. She adjusted our tour based on what we had already seen in Kanazawa and our family interests. She recommended a restaurant for lunch where we made our own sushi. My 13 year old son described Sachiko as "friendly and energetic, excellent sushi making teacher." The 10 year old said she knew how to get us involved and excited (in no small part to taking us to throw ninja stars and make our own plates decorated with gold leaf). Highly recommend!

Excellent tour in Kanazawa

Excellent tour, excellent guide. My guide was Sachiko Nakai. She was professional and explained me very well the places we visited. She was able to answer all my questions. After each activity she proposed 2 or 3 different activities and let me choose.
I really enjoyed my tour

Tetsuro was the best!

I first need to compliment our tour guide, Tetsuro. He was absolutely amazing!! He showed us everything we wanted to tour. Additionally, he was so kind, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. He took so many great photos of my fiance and I. The day we went was of course the hottest day of the year this far, but we still had the greatest time! 10/10 would recommend (:
