We were sent multiple pick up instructions. No one was waiting when we came out from customs. One set of instructions said to “go out the door”, which we did. Didn’t see anyone. Looked back at reservation, which said to go to terminal 2 arrival hall. Keep in mind, Narita is huge and confusing so “the door” can mean anything. We went to terminal 2, no one there. I tried to call the phone number for the provider, no answer. Called Viator and they said to call the provider! After about 30 minutes I finally received a message from the driver via WhatsApp. He had to drive over and find us. We finally found each other and he was marginally polite in the airport. Once in the car he didn’t say a word on a ride that took an hour. Upon arrival at our hotel, he basically threw our luggage out the back, hopped in the car and sped off. No thank you, nothing. It was rude and impolite. I booked a car for the security of getting to the hotel after arriving in a foreign country where I don’t speak or read the language. Vague instructions are not helpful and getting a rude, angry driver because his company screwed up is also not okay. The only reason we gave two stars instead of one is because we actually made it to the hotel. I never thought i would say this about a company in Japan, but they seriously need to fix their customer service.

Excellent treatment! Perfect and very helpful driver waiting for us in the right spot. Very comfortable car with offering of drinking water. Driver also helped us with hotel check-in.

Met us at the gate with a sign with our name on it - no waiting. Driver was very friendly and it was truly a ‘door to door’ service from the Airport to our hotel in Tokyo (Hilton).
Stress free and very comfortable. We were a family of 4 with large suitcases travelling internationally. It was a van that could seat all four of us comfortably with room for our luggage. Highly recommend the service - would use them again if in Tokyo.

After an 11 hour flight, clearing Inmigration and Customs and one hour line for the Japan Rail pass, our private transfer for 4 persons got us fast and easily to our hotel.
