I had an early Christmas present, a session on the Lancaster Bomber Flight Simulator. We arrives in good time so we had a coffee prior to the experience. The cafe is clean, all staff very accomodating, excellent coffee. The staff found extra seats for my little family group, I didn't expect that they would be able to watch me as I had the experience. The simulator experience was amazing, very realistic-flying under the QE2 Bridge an experience in itself. It gave me an insight into what those young men went through in WW2, including my own late Father who was a Navigator in Lancasters. We had a walk through the Museum itself, the staff were great, we bought a few souvenirs but will return for a fuller walk round with my camera. Toilets very clean, all in all a great place to visit.

Wonderful experience for anyone who wants to learn more of Japanese culture and traditions. She is a warm and engaging hostess who invites you in to her home to show you real life Japan.
Her English is excellent and she is a great conversationalist.

Thank you for your visit to my home! You were a wonderful guest so I enjoyed a lot to be with you. I felt your sincere interest and understanding to our culture. You said you were not good at music but you were quick learning good student. I think you can be a great master of Koto ;)

I experienced Japanese culture at the owner, Noriko's, home. As soon as I opened the front door, I was drawn into the Japanese space, drawn in by the interior decoration with family crests and Japanese goods, and drawn in by the owner, Noriko's bright and gentle teachings, where she taught me tea and the koto.

We enjoyed the wonderful Japanese atmosphere while the owner, Noriko, taught us the proper tea ceremony etiquette. She explained the meaning of each step in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable way.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but there was wonderful Japanese interior design everywhere, from the entrance to the room and inside the room.
Thank you Noriko for your wonderful hospitality. I look forward to seeing you again.

I had a really fun time.
It was a lovely Japanese-style home that made me feel like I was in Kyoto, and it was a great memory to try on a kimono.
Noriko is a friendly person who is always laughing. It seems like Noriko has a lot more going for her! I'd love to experience this again!

昨日はのりこさん手作りの夕食を頂き、越田家と楽しい時間を過ごしました。2月に新居へ引っ越し初めての訪問者となりました。家は玄関を開けた瞬間から和に魅せる工夫が随所に見られました。間接照明も温かく、落ち着いた雰囲気です。時が経つのを忘れて、長い時間、くつろいだ雰囲気のなかの団欒は素敵な時間でした。ありがとうございました。

Noriko is a kind and interesting host. She talks a lot and laugh a lot, which make us friends immediately.
We enjoy a formal tea ceremony with delicate Japanese sweet, full of seasonal flavor.
Then Noriko helped me do make-up and wear a beautiful "kimono". Suddenly I became an elegant Japanese lady and can't stop taking pictures of all poses.
Then we had a wonderful Japanese style meal, all made by great chef Noriko.
Listening to her introductions and stories, we really had a deep dive into Japanese culture and history. This is definitely the most local way to do travel in Tokyo! Just make a reservation and build exotic memory of your own!

空港からもアクセスが良く、駅まで迎えにきてくれるので心配なく利用できました。

What a fun day! Noriko was such a delightful and lovely hostess. She is so knowledgeable about many aspects of Japanese culture.
The meal she made was delicious, and such a treat to watch. And Noriko is highly trained in the art of tea ceremony. That was a unique taste of Japan! And everything is so beautifully presented.
I loved getting to try my hand at learning to play the koto. It was was definitely challenging, but so interesting.
The highlight was being able to try on a beautiful, silk kimono, and imagine life in old Japan!
This was not only a great chance to learn and experience traditional Japanese culture. It was also chance to spend time with our lovely hostess Noriko, in her own home. There was plenty of time to ask and discuss our many questions!
An impressive, unforgettable experience!
