We had the most amazing time with our tour guide, Nina. For a walking tour, it wasn't too extensive or tiring. Nina took us to some amazing stops and explained the history behind each place and told us so much about Japan in general in between stops. The lunch that was organised was so tasty and a decent little break.
I would highly recommend this tour! We had a great day out and learnt so much! Even made some friends with all the deer!!

Great tour! Nao was great, patient and engaging! Very beautiful scenery and feeding the deer was a fun experience! The different temples and shrines are incredible!

Covered all the sights in Nara at a relaxed pace. Guide was well informed on various sights in Nara. Lunch was superb and really nice especially the vegetarian option on offer. Two points to improve - taking too many photos of tour participants can be annoying as these can be shared in the public domain. Second the history of Nara is wider than just that.of.specific.buildings. Guide.did.not.seem to be informed enough to discuss the history of.Nara as a capital and its prior history..But these two notwithstanding, a good tour with a very amiable and thoughtful guide.

I was expecting this tour to have more people but we have been very lucky that the tour was just us and the guide, Shin. Our ice fortune luck was “very excellent” - get a fortune slip and put on ice to see the Japanese words appearing.
Recommend this tour if you want to know the history of the area and have fun with deers. Shin was very good in explaining.
Bonus for us: Shin had worked in our country before so it was fun interaction reminiscing the memories.

Shin was humorous and very knowledgeable. He described things in a humorous and light-hearted way that makes the tour very enjoyable.
We asked if he has any recommendation for kitchen knives and he brought us to an established store with more than hundred years of history that used to make samurai swords. We love it!

I had a great time with Shin, and learned lots about Nara and the temples there. Lunch was delicious and Shin shared lots of interesting facts about the area.

Our guide, Nao, was very charming and knowledgeable. She was very good company and gave us a delightful tour. She explained the cultural icons of this part of Nara. An unexpected bonus was to see the former Emperor and Empress who by coincidence were visiting Nara the same day. The traditional Japanese lunch in an elegant room was excellent. A perfect introduction to Nara.

We had a wonderful time exploring Nara with our tour guide Eri, who was so helpful and friendly throughout the day. Visiting the Todai-ji Temple and feeing the deers were my favourite parts of the tour. Thank you for a great time Eri!

Nobu was an excellent guide! She was on time, patient, full of knowledge and very very kind. My son and I could not have chosen a better guide than Nobu 💖
