Yoshi is decent and caring man who tried his best to gives us a tour around Kochi. However his english was not good.We struggle to understand him many times during the tour. Apparently, his hearing is not the best either. We, respectfuly find that his age may not have helped either. We want to stress that he is good,caring man who did his best but his lack of good english prevent us to give him a good review.

We had such a wonderful day with Nori. She and a driver picked us up at the port and we went to the Makino Botanical Gardens which was a great choice because it was not crowded, and the cherry blossoms were blooming everywhere. It was gorgeous. We then went to a beautiful temple and had a fabulous lunch at a restaurant that we would have never found on our own. We had a great day with Nori and we really enjoyed talking with her. She took great care of us.

Yoshi did an exceptional job taking us around Kochi. The dance museum was a lot of fun. He took us to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant that was great.

I’m very pleased that you enjoyed the one day tour in Kochi.
You are very interested in our culture.
Sometimes we guides are known more about our culture by tourists.
I can’t forget that you presented some souvenirs to Japanese children walking on the street.

Yamamoto was a great guide--he worked with me in advance on what to see in the time I had and how to get around given my mobility issues. It was pouring rain, and I cannot do many steps, and he remembered a back way to the temple that had no steps at all! We found a wonderful knife shop, and he helped me choose a knife with the help of the merchant who spoke little English. I even went back to that shop on a later stop in Kochi. Thank you, Yamamoto, for a wonderful experience!
