Both sites are amazing & must visit,while in Almaty great UNESCO canyons & mesmerising view of Kolsai Lakes,snow peaks in background,lively atmosphere fantastic view

A great tour lead by a great guide Dias! The minivan was quite comfortable, so it wasn’t tiring to spend several hours on the road. Dias was very attentive to all our questions, and didn’t hurry us while we were taking pictures. Also a delicious lunch at a house of one of the locals as well, we enjoyed it! Can definitely recommend using the services of Kazia tour :D

We had a great tour of Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lake with Diyaz and Azad. Diyaz was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of insight and background into Kazakhstan. We were slow hikers and he was very patient with us as well. Azad is an expert driver and drove beautifully. Lunch was decent, we got dumplings, bread and homemade jams in a traditional Kazakh home, but the breads were cold so that was a bit sad. However the dumplings and jams were absolutely fantastic. Overall a really lovely tour!

The trip to the two places was fantastic. The canyon and the lake are away from the city centre and thus, the drive is long. However, it is extremely beautiful and worth the long journey. The Tour was scheduled in a timely manner so that we could return back within a reasonable time. Our tour guide Dias was extremely polite, understanding and make some changes to suit our requirements, specifically because I was travelling with two senior citizens. He and I also had an elaborate chat about life and everything else. It was a beautiful time spent, enjoying the mesmerising nature surrounding us around. The WhatsApp communication with Kazia tour was also seamless, quick and effective.
With regards the lake, there is a trail down to the lake which is physically strenuous, especially if one is not physically fit. Dias, however, took time to show me around the lake and gave me time to adjust to then physical demands of enjoying the lake. He showed me around the lake and explained the history behind its formation and the system of lakes from the glaciers. It was worth every step taken.
With regards the canyon, it is beautiful. After descending down the 200 odd steps, there were local vehicles available that transported people in the 2.5 km odd stretch in the canyon to the river at the end of it. It is highly recommended, if travelling with the elderly and it makes the sightseeing much easier.
Overall, it was a fantastic tour and the time management was commendable. We were back in the city by 7pm, thereby giving us enough time to rest for the next day travel back home. I highly recommend this tour and my heartiest appreciation and gratitude to Kazia Tour and specifically to Dias for such a memorable tour.

Our guide, Diyas, was the best. A big part of our trip involved hiking to Kolsay Lake and through Charyn Canyon. Diyas is a mountaineer and although the day did not involve anything particularly strenuous, it was nice to gain his perspective on the natural beauty of our surroundings. The lunch was wonderful, our van very comfortable, and our driver got us everywhere precisely on time.

Nice place, nice people. Small walk, not too long, not too short. The lunch is good, tour guide and driver are nice too, not much shopping in this trip.

I booked this tour through Viator and had a lovely experience. The guide was jovial and prompt to all our requests. He, very smoothly navigated us through the entire tour at all pitstops we made. The lunch included with the tour was homemade, inclusive of local delicacies, made by a lovely mother-daughter duo who were very welcoming at their B&B. Overall the experience was fun.
