It was excellent, worth every rupee spent...the guide, Mr.Ang, gave us a tailor made tour based on our interest areas and took pains explaining at each location about the history, patiently answering all our queries. Thank you Mr.Ang!

Eng, our guide, was very personable, engaging, considerate and flexible. He interpreted our wishes and gave us exactly what we wanted - an in-depth local appreciation of Georgetown.
He was respected and well-known to all at the major sites we visited.

We had a wonderful tour guide called Eng. He was very flexible from the moment we meet and took us to some amazing places. Superb knowledge of local area and all the places we visited. Would highly recommend.

Amazing, definitely recommend!
Our tour guide of Jason Lim. He was informative, really friendly. We spent all day with him finding out more about the island from the history to the culture to all the attactions. even some of the local food spots. We had a tour guide in Kuala Lumpur, I thought he was good until I met jason. he was another level. His tour will be the highlight of my trip is malaysia and singapore.

Jeff was our private tour guide. He Whatssap messaged me the pickup details the night before, he arrived early at our hotel and drove my dad and I to all the major spots around Penang that we wanted to see. He even took extra time to bring us to a fruit stand to try durian for the first time. Jeff was seemingly enthusiastic, quite knowledgeable and answered all of our questions throughout the tour. We think the purpose of the tour was carried out well for the price advertised.
However, for reasons I will not share publicly on TripAdvisor, a problem came up with our guide that made the majority of time uncomfortable for me. I sent a direct email to Active Dynamics to share full details of the experience and management responded very professionally, and appropriately to my experience shared -- hence my updated review.
Lastly, we wanted to tip him (for the extra time spent on the tour) and we gave Jeff USD. I recommend tipping in Ringgit if you're choosing to do so (we just didn't have enough ringgit at the time).

Jeffery was our tour guide and was absolutely fantastic. Visited Batik Craft manufacturing, Entopia, Penang Hill Fenicular, Temples and Chew Jetty. The express pass at Penang Hill is a must as the crowds are huge. Jeffery made sure he took us to all of the great spots on the journey around the beautiful island.

Would definitely recommend. The tour was tailored around our preferences and our tour guide, Jeff, was very informative and even provided umbrellas/ponchos for when it rained. Jeff arrived early and even let the tour run over slightly.

What a fantastic way to spend the day exploring the sights and attractions of Penang. Our tour guide and driver Mr Eng was absolutely fabulous . He was very informative , helpful and our personal

This was a great day. Thank you Mr Eng. We saw all that we planned and more. Our guide was knowledgeable and we got to learn so much more than if we had tried to do this ourselves. This tour is well organised and worth it. Thank you.

You only get what you pay for,this trip is the best I’ve taken in Malaysia.You sort your own itinerary out and are not time restricted.The guides are friendly,accommodating and very professional.I would not hesitate recommending them as they are used to dealing with cruise ship patrons.

My husband & I are interested in the tour, but, we won't need to visit all 18 stops because we will have visited some with our tour company whom we will travel from Singapore.
We will have a free day which we want to visit half of the itinerary.
Can we still do that but spend longer time in some places such as Penang Hill & Kek Lok Si?
How many people would be in the tour please? We don't mind sharing but we don't know how you can plan if we only want to stop at half of the stops.
Or may be best if we have 2 half day tours?
