I had booked a hiking trip with this company that was fantastic, so I didn't hesitate to book this trip for a day on Ile aux Cerf Island.
I got a message from the driver saying he would be a little late, but wasn't worried at this point. He arrived and picked us up, I didn't even notice another row of seats behind us, but he had his son back there, my mother said hello to him and he pulls out a gun and sticks it in my mother's face and said to stick it up! It took a moment to notice it wasn't a real gun, but there was definitely a moment of fear since we were both women tourists.
We get to where the marina/docks are and there is no boat for us. They tell us to wait in a certain area and our boat will be there soon.
There was no boat. They talked to the operator of another boat and I guess they agreed to take us to the island. The boat was already pretty full, but there were a few places left to squeeze in, so we did.
We got to the island and it was very nice, the boat driver told us to be ready to be picked up for lunch at a certain time. So we enjoyed the island, checking the time often since there was not really a ton of time to be there exploring.
When it was the time specified, boats from every company were coming to collect the people. The boat that had taken us to the island gives out vouchers to their clients, but we did not have vouchers so they would not take us to the lunch spot. As more boats are coming and going a man who was guiding people saw us and questioned what boat we should be on. He had to make several phone calls and finally got through to Freshverde via our driver, and we ended up waiting for about 45 minutes in the sun until a water taxi boat finally relented and took us to lunch.
The quality of the lunch was okay, but everyone else had a table in the shade with real silverware and glasses. We got a 2 person table in the sun with plastic utensils and very small paper cups. I asked for a soda and got about a sips worth and they took the bottle away. My Mom got wine in her paper cup. Our meals were put on a plate w/o anyone asking what we wanted, so I got stuff like fish which I wouldn't eat, and my mother got some things she wouldn't eat... the meal was adequate but not anything to write home about.
When we were ready to go, a young kid put us on a boat and went to show us the waterfall, and then got the boat stuck on a rock... and when we finally got free took us back to the dock. It was 3 pm at this point.
Our driver said he would be there when we got back, and we looked up and down the area looking for him and did not find him. After a half hour we took a taxi back to the hotel.
It was not a fun day.
We got a call about 4pm asking where we were because the driver couldn't find us, and we told them that after waiting 30 minutes we chose to get home by other means. We were asked how the day went and I told them it pretty much sucked. I was promised a refund since it was supposed to be a great day and it was also our last day on the island. I suggested even 1/2 refund since we did get to the island and we were fed, but they said absolutely not and once again promised a full refund. I haven't gotten anything back... and we were there in May, so I doubt that would happen.
So, by all means the 7 waterfall hike is worth it through this company... but stay away from their boat trips, because our last day was was pretty terrible.

Nous avons passés notre temps à attendre pour au final sur une sortie de 7-8h rester 2 heures sur l’île aux cerfs de 11h à 13h.
Mention spéciale tout de même à notre taxi qui était ponctuel et très agréable et au conducteur du bateau rapide Lucas, seule activité sympa de la journée.
La bouée tractée à durée 1 min donc aucun intérêt alors que nous sommes restés + de 2 heures sur place!
Dommage cette sortie fait vraiment piège à touristes.
Néanmoins tout le monde est très agréable, la touch mauricienne!
Mention spéciale tout de même à notre taxi qui était ponctuel et très agréable et au conducteur du bateau rapide Lucas, seule activité sympa de la journée.

Nous sommes désolés d'apprendre cela. Il a été signalé que vous êtes parti très tard à l'hôtel. Nous avons communiqué l'heure de prise en charge avec vous et vous n'avez pas respecté l'heure de prise en charge. Vous aviez 45 minutes de retard.
Nous ne sommes pas en faute et nous ne pouvons rien faire. Nous vous l'avons clairement dit. Si vous étiez arrivé à l'heure, ces circonstances ne se seraient jamais produites.
Nous avons fait de notre mieux pour vous rendre heureux. Nous avons dit à notre personnel de faire quelque chose de spécial pour vous ! Je suis heureux que vous aimiez le travail dévoué de notre personnel.
