We rented two surfboard and wetsuits from Loving Surf in April 2022 - we're really happy we walked a bit further out of the old town to get here as the prices were more affordable than other places (Loving Surf was 10 euros each for the surfboard and wetsuit for half a day, most other places were at least 15 euros). I've surfed a few times but it was my boyfriend's first time so we took two foam boards. It was lots of fun and definitely worth spending 10 euros each for a good few hours!

We were travelling through Essaouira and decided to take some surf lessons with Lovingsurf. We were so glad we did.Younes arranged surf instruction that was well structured with plenty of time to practice! Shout out to Imad Khafi for sharing his skills and wisdom and making our time in the water so enjoyable.Top marks!!

5 stars! Had a fantastic experience with Loving Surf in Essaouira!
They were very accommodating and helped to organise a bespoke day trip from Marrakech for my mother and I. They arranged an excellent car shuttle from our Riad in Marrakech with a great driver as well as a 2 hour surf lesson and a private tour with a local guide who was very knowledgable!
The surf lesson itself was very professional and the instructor provided me with lots of useful tips and advice to improve my technique. A few things that I hadn't heard before that really helped! The surf equipment was also great - with wetsuits thay kept me very warm during the colder February water. The owner Youssef also drove us down to the port and recommended a really good local fish restaurant which had delicious and well priced seafood! I would highly recommend Loving Surf to anyone visiting Essaouira 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had a really good experience at the surf lesson with Loving Surf. I went solo for my first surf lesson ever, and I was met by such nice staff and other course participants. I was a little scared for my first time on the board, but for no reason. The instructor explained everything so good and really motivated you in the water.
Loving surf got me hooked and I will absolutely keep on surfing. Definitely coming back when returning to Morocco!

I have never surfed before coming to Essaouira and learned it here within a couple of days, so that in the end I was able to catch a good number of waves! Much faster than I had expected.
The teachers strike a good balance between being laid-back and pushing you to improve. The staff in the surf school was super nice and created a great atmosphere in the shop.
When I will come back to Essaouira I will surely return here to further improve my surfing and catch up with some great people!
