He showed up on timea dn give us a good and detailed explanation to the tourist sites. Excellent tour with beautiful sights. The tour guide / driver was Said Al kiyumi and he was exceptional. Drove really well and was very caring. Did a great job explaining everything. Would highly recommend Sunshine Tours and Said

This was an amazing journey. The views, sounds and tastes where truly one of a kind. Mr Yassir our tour guide is the best. Yassir was so knowledgeable about the sites we toured as well as any other questions our four-person group had related to Oman. As we toured the mountain, Mr Yassir's driving was superb and we felt quite safe as he navigated the mountains. I will be using Sunshine Tours again and highly recommend you do as well.

We got a real feel of Oman on the trip. It was a really well planned, full-day private tour to Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar, guided by the wonderful Amer from Sunshine Tours. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to fully enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Amer’s deep knowledge of, and passion for, Omani history and culture made the experience truly enriching and personal, something that travelers can sense. His attention to detail and ability to also adjust the tour steps to our preferences ensured a seamless and enjoyable day. He was not only an excellent guide but also a wonderful host, making us feel completely at ease. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personalized and insightful tour to these historic parts!

we had day trip to Nizwa and green mountain, our guide Said Al kiyumi is very knowledgeable and informative. We learnt a lot history of the cities, culture etc. He is also very good driver and definitely has attentions to details. He explained everything including the stops, travelling time, photo points. We had great time , and definitely recommend it!

Our guide Musab was an informative, wonderfully hospitable host. He provided us with excellent information about the culture and the region, and he introduced us to local treats such Omani bread with date syrup and a lovely assortment of dates. We saw the goat market as well as the local souq and the fort and castle. Musab was animated and proud in showing us the ingenious defensive features of the fort. We also visited the historic homes adjacent to the ancient Aflaj irrigation system still in operation, with Musab guiding us efficiently for the best views. From there we drove to Jebel Akhdar to share the stunning view witnessed by Princess Diana. What a drive and what a view! Musab was an expert driver as well as guide. This was a truly memorable Omani experience.

recently had the most incredible experience exploring Nizwa and green mountain with Muneer and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment our journey began, their professionalism, deep knowledge of Omani history and culture, and warm hospitality made the trip truly unforgettable.

An immersion into the real Oman. Our guide Khalid gave us all the directions for the best purchases in the souq. The mountain climb is fascinating, a landscape of mountains and red rocks. At the top you can see small villages embedded in the rock. Grazie Khalid!

Definitely one of the highlights of the trip! Absolutely love Jebel Akhdar, a beautiful place. I stayed at the Alila resort which I highly recommend to everyone staying overnight. With my fantastic guide Aziz, we were able to explore the nearby area, do some hiking, and see the incredible Al Suwgra Village, which is an absolute marvel.

Our guide for this tour was Ali Al Jabri. Ali was fantastic. He contacted us the night before our trip to confirm pick up time and arrived early on the day of the trip.
We followed the itinerary advertised for this trip. On the way to Nizwa we stopped for karak tea and Omani bread, arriving in Nizwa as planned.
Ali offered continual insights as we drove ranging from Omani history & culture to information on the sights we were passing.
He acted as our guide in Nizwa, through the souk and into the fort. We spent at least 2.5 hours here, with Ali giving us a comprehensive guided tour of the fort.
From Nizwa we went on to Jebel Akhdar and spent a couple of hours here taking in the sights. Ali navigated the challenging roads with ease.
Our last scheduled stop was in Birkat Al Mouz where we firstly stopped in the town to look at the falaj (irrigation system) before moving on to the ruins of Harat al Siybani. Ali took us to another vantage point to get some photos before we headed back to Muscat.
On the way back to Muscat, Ali took us on a small detour to view some beehive tombs located in a small village to the side of the main express way.
We arrived back into Muscat just after 7pm having received full value for money.
Ali was very generous with his time. He was extremely knowledgeable and happy to share this knowledge with us, which contributed greatly to our understanding. The success of our trip is all due to having Ali as our host and guide. His efforts were greatly appreciated.

A fascinating tour of Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar, including Birkat Al Muz old village on 9th February. Khalid was a brilliant guide. He was very knowledgable, pleasant company and helped me to improve my Arabic! Everything went very smoothly. Would highly recommend the tour and Khalid as a guide.

We will be in Muscat with MSC Opera cruise on February 9, 2023 from 07.00 - 18.00 only.
Can we quickly see the main sites of Muscat and do the full day Nizwa tour as well?
Also, this will be just for my wife and myself and I am 2 meters tall, what kind of vehicles do you have available?
