It would have been nice to have a English speaking guide. The price was to much for what you got. I expected it to be bigger.

Our guide was excellent can’t thank him enough took time to explain everything and allowed us to proceed at our pace. Enough flora and fauna to se for around an hour and a half, well over worth it . Don’t worry if gate locked when you arrive your guide will arrive on time. A must se in Boquete don’t hesitate to prt the ocelot he is sooooo soft.

We researched the place and made sure it was open, drove all the way there to find it closed up. No schedule with hours of operation, no intercom.

There's not much to see, I was expecting more animals and plants. You pay a lot, just to walk 45 minutes. Although the guide was very good.

Dear Visitor, sorry that you had expected something different. You stated that there is a lot to see but then you also mentioned that there are not too many animals?
We see ourselves as a Botanical Garden and not a zoo. All the animals in the park are rescued throughout the years and they call the garden their home. Again we are not a zoo but a Botanical Park.

I've heard many stories about this place and we couldn't get in because there was nobody there. One of the stories I heard was that all of the animals were captured and put in the cages and the most recent story is that the owner has been kicked out of the house and that the business is no longer in business so don't count on seeing anything.

I only saw now the deceitful and untrue statement from "burtondogs1". This person was never at our place and never will be granted access to it. Her comments in short :
"I heard many stories" .
FALSE: so you are one of those persons that listens to gossip and likes to gossip herself and gives feedback on gossip instead on our tours?
"we couldn't get in"
FALSE. We are only open by reservation and you need to book through Tripadvisor/Viator, AirBnB and others. You cannot just show up thinking we have a guide sitting all day long to wait for you!
"One of the stories I heard"
FALSE: All our animals are rescued animals by the ministry now called Ambiente and they are here for many years and in best care. All birds can fly and all animals have large enclosures, some even with trees.
"the owner was kicked out of the house"
FALSE: This is defamation in the worst way.
You are actually trying to spread publicly fake rumor and you are not afraid to do so. We will give this matter to our legal department and they will request for release of your "real" or full name in order to start defamation proceedings. It cannot be that a person willingly spreads false rumors publicly and takes it as a reason for a feedback, for nothing but her hateful opinion.
Shame on you to add such fake information into the Tripadvisor Feedback Panel.

Thank you for giving us your feedback however our park is a botanical park and by no means a flower show. The park changes throughout the years and plants grow wild and the way they want, the natural way and this is why we do not overly manicure. You are the first visitor that has this opinion so we accept it as given freely however it does not reflect for what this park stands for.

We booked a German tour and got a Spanish tour!?!?
Jorge,our tour guide tried his best..but obviously there was not much learning for us. His knowledge seems to be top notch!! The animals..well,.it is what it is.
Since you do offer the tour in 3 languages( Spanish,German,English) ,it would be great to get the chosen language.
We saw all these plants in the wilderness already but were hoping for more information.
Therefore,wasted money!

Sorry to hear that but the problem was that you booked the tour on the same day which was for us not enough time to reach the German speaking guide. I asked you if you want to wait but you decided to take the tour with Jorge. It is a problem for us that if we have only a short window to reach a guide then this is what happens. If there would be a way to edit a minimum time frame before a booking is confirmed we would not talk about this situation. However when booking while being already at the gate or shortly before, it is out of our control.

We booked same day and the owner did our tour. She was lovely and informative about plants and animals. We pet (through the enclosure) an ocelot, danced with a makaw, chatted with parrots, and fed a couple monkeys. All animals kept humanely for rehab or because they cannot return to the wild. Wonderful experience!!!

We really enjoyed the tour and the park was beautiful. Take a moment to talk to Ms. Schumann. She is extremely friendly and delights in telling you all about her experiences in Panama and is quick to recommend other things to do in Boquete.

My wife and I are going to be visiting the area in January. We will be staying at the Downtown Suites. How far is it to your park? Is there transportation to and from the part to the hotel?
