A fabulous day with an excellent guide - Ms Toshinomiya. Myajima is a beautiful island. The temple with the Torii in the sea and the deer in their natural habitat makes for a fabulous morning, including the ferry ride. The street food is fabulous but it gets very busy so best advice to get lunch early. On to Hiroshima, the peace gardens are beautiful and it’s a very moving experience to visit the museum. Very well done with moving tributes to the people who lost their lives. An absolutely fabulous day. Only slight criticism was the group size was very large for one guide to control but she did an outstanding job and we could have done with longer in museum. Always polite, smiling and very knowledgeable about Hiroshima, her city. Tour was run by Sunrise tours. Meeting place was easy to find and very well organised.

Keiko was amazing!
You can tell she really loves Hiroshima and was kind enough to tell personal stories and share recommendations. I really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend.
If you go to the island on a busy day I advise you get lunch asap as the lines are long for the best food.

Our guide was excellent. She entertained us with her sense of humor while providing some details about the sights. Hiroshima was quite a moving experience. As a personal preference I felt the group size was too large for me and would have preferred an option for smaller group and more personal attention. I think I could have done this tour on my own instead. Just my personal sense of value.

The meeting place was very easy to locate even though we had an early start from Osaka, but catching the Shinkansen was nice and easy and fast. The air-conditioned bus ride was very welcoming in the humidity outside as provided comfort while travelling to different locations. However the guide speaking was drowned out by the bus noise although we had a seat in the rear of the bus was not ideal, and when I approached the tour guide to mention this her only advice was to move up the front of the bus, but all available seats where taken. So despite this we heard very little of the tour guide’s explanations. When then caught the ferry to the island of Miyajima where the tour guide took us the shine at the end of the island and then left us for the whole time we where there. Because all signage was in Japanese, we had no clue what we were looking at and no one to explain anything to us. I found this to be a disappointment as we left this area fairly quickly and headed to the market where we spent most of our time shopping and eating the food in the markets. By the way the oysters did not disappoint they were beautiful. The children loved interacting with the wild deer roaming free. Next we visited the Atomic bomb dome, the peace memorial park and museum. The guide was very informative during this part of the tour and we found it to be both interesting but very sad place due to the horrific nature of what occurred here. Let hope it never happens ever again. The human race can be very cruel and callous all in the name of future advancement of weapons of mass destruction and the effects it had on innocent men women and children used as lab rats after the event. A very solemn and sombre place to visit, but well worth the experience.

Great tour to Miyajima Island, Peace Memorial Museum and Park, and Atomic Bomb Dome. In Hiroshima the only public transport available is the street car, so having an air conditioned coach made the trip very convenient and comfortable. We found the group size to be too large - too much time was spent in making sure everyone in the group stayed together, so our guide Keiko wasn’t able to explain in great detail, but it was sufficient. Overall we had a good trip and we definitely recommend!

Meeting place was easy to find and very well organised, comfortable coach small group. The tour guide was very friendly and gave us great information at both locations, As first timers to Japan it was nice to not worry about what train we had to get and how to exit a station

The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the meeting point. They need to have a few meeting points to make it easier for tourists. Apart from that a great and informative trip.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Ausflugstouren masslos überteuert. Dies ist eigentlich recht schade, zumal die Reiseführerin sehr kompetent und die Tour nicht uninteressant war.
Bei diesem Preis hätte das Mittagessen inbegriffen sein müssen.

Is it possible to do this tour on a Tuesday. I will have a JR rail pass and will travel from Kyoto in the morning but Tuesday the 3rd of July is the best day for me to do this
