First of all, if I could give this tour a 10 star review, I would! When I booked it, I missed the fact that it was a private tour so that was a very happy surprise. Joe was our tour guide and he was really amazing and knowledgeable. He was so patient while I took all my photos and he navigated the crowds of tourists and school children with ease! We saw very beautiful sites and had a fantastic tour. I highly recommend this tour especially with Joe!!

Hashi was our personal tour guide and she was so lovely and friendly and went at a pace that both myself and my mum could go at (mum was post knee reconstructions)! She was very informative on all areas we went to on the tour, especially around Miyajjma island and the areas of the Atomic Bomb and their memorials.
We saw so much in one day, by train, ferry, light rail and walking, we covered it all and was very enjoyable!
Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hiroshima!

Kiyoshi was an amazing tour guide, he explains everywhere you go with lots of detail and insight into life in Hiroshima. He was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend kiyoshi and this tour for anyone visiting Hiroshima we had a great day!

Our guide Kyoshi was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and adaptable. We are glad we took this trip. He explained many things we saw and gave us insight into his warm Japanese culture and the lives of people around the region. He introduced us to new food too. Kyoshi was an excellent guide. Met us at our hotel and spent the day guiding us and showing us around. GREAT EXPERIENCE! GREAT GUIDE!!! Thank you Kyoshi!!!

We had a great time touring Hiroshima - our tour guide Joe was knowledgeable and very friendly and tailored the day to our specific requests/needs (i.e. it was very hot on the day so did some more indoor/undercover activities on Miyajima rather than being outside in the sun). We were running a bit late after lunch which would have meant we had to rush through the atomic bomb museum but Joe very kindly stayed overtime for no extra charge to make sure we got the most out of the experience. Would highly recommend.

A must to get a vision of Japan. The bomb museum is structured in a simple but effective way in communicating the tragedy of war. It can arouse emotions that are not easy to handle emotionally. ..

We had a great time. Kako was an awesome tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to guide us through the day and even fit in sometime for us to shop as well

Well there really are no words that could do justice to such a great experience. All because of the tour guide-Tom. To say he knocked it out of the park would be such an underwhelming way of describing our experience it's almost an insult. Tom was so knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip, bus routes, local culture, food, traditions...I could go on. At the end when parting ways both my wife and I had tears in our eyes. If you can request a specific guide Tom's the one for you and this trip was made a significant positive lifetime memory because of him.

This was an excellent walking tour, everything was so close together when walking, so don’t stress if you think it is ages to walk. The tour guide had so much knowledge and stories about all the sites, was so nice for someone that isn’t massive into history in the tour group. Loved it and so glad I did this tour.

Very informative trip. A lot to do and see in 1 day. Our guide was organised and the day went smoothly. There were big crowds at the museum making it difficult to see the exhibits and we had to rush through.
