We really liked the experience, our guide José made us the survey of our interests and was faithful to them. He has a lot of knowledge but conveys it interestingly, even gave us recommendations to eat. Highly recommended the tour.

Kenya is a first class guide with a deep knowledge of Japan’s history, he’s very friendly and has a delightful sense of humor too.He also took a number of wonderful photos for us. We are really thankful for him and this incredible experience.

This family-friendly tour with Milo was a very rewarding experience for us. We learned so much about Japan and its history. Additionally, we visited multiple important places. But most important, it's all the information that was shared with us to enjoy Kyoto to the fullest.

Hanako led us on an amazing tour. We did the full day 8-hour walking tour of Kyoto and it helped my wife and I see many things we otherwise wouldn't have, and contextualize the city in a very helpful way. Moreover, it was great to have someone local that we could ask all of our many dumb questions about Japan to.

Mia did an amazing job with recommending sites that catered to our interests during our 3 hour tour. She was so nice, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to! She even gave us suggestions for where to go for the rest of our trip. We absolutely loved our tour and will recommend this to friends and family traveling to Kyoto in the future.

Vanessa provided us with an outstanding tour which gave us a great insight into the geisha district, its history and the culture. She pointed out so many details we would otherwise have missed and was super helpful in answering our questions. She also took us past some of the shrines and conveyed their significance. Very knowledgeable about the spiritual and cultural aspects of Kyoto. Couldn’t have wished for a better tour.

The stops listed all include the phrase, "Pass by." What does "pass by" mean? Does it mean that the tour just passes by the attraction, without entering? For example, I would want to know if the group enters Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and walks around, or if the group just passes by it. Thank you.
