Kaz was an amazing guide! He had so much information on everything, just a huge boost to the attractions knowing more about them made this tour top notch. We had a bit of bad weather Kaz recommended swapping a few things and it turned out to be even better!

Our guide Tomoko was the best. Even under scorching sunshine she kept up with the schedule while ensuring that we were safe during the day. Her knowledge of the attractions was outstanding

Kyoto has a lot of attractions (thousands of temples and hundreds of shrines) so you are faced with the problem of what to visit if you have limited time. It was great to see a one-day tour which would visit our musts in our Kyoto list: Fushimi Inari, the Golden Pavilion, Arashiyama bamboo grove, Ryoan Ji and Gion. We had a fantastic licensed guide, Noriko, who provided the needed context to the sites we visited. Her pacing was perfect. We covered all the stops in the itinerary and had fun experiencing public transportation (combination of subways, trams and taxi) in Kyoto. We would have wasted a lot of time going on our own and missed learning the interesting histories and backgrounds of the sites we visited. Thank you Noriko for an enjoyable and thorough tour!

Going through Kyoto on a private tour with Yuka was absolutely perfect. Yuka was incredibly knowledgeable, and had mapped out an incredible tour for us. She was also very friendly, and concerned for our welfare since we did a lot of walking. Kyoto is a magnificent city, full of culture and history, and with Yuka guiding our tour, we learned much more that we ever could have on our own. Thank you for everything Yuka!!

Our tour guide Chie took us on a wonderful tour around the best spots in Kyoto. She was a total delight and very informative with her knowledge of this area. We had the best day, packed with beautiful sites and it was made easy thanks to Chie.

Satomi was a wonderful tour guide and took us to all the best places around Kyoto. We learnt so much more about the history of Kyoto and its’ structures rather than had we done this on our own. The tour was excellent and we had plenty of time to see everything as well as stop anywhere along the way. Definitely recommend :)

My husband and I had the most amazing day with our private guide Sachi. She showed us all the places we wanted to see and added some beautiful gardens as well. She is so knowledgeable and interesting, we had the best day ever. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see Kyoto highlights in just one day.

Satomi was a wonderful guide and added background to the Torri Gates, the Golden Pavilion and the Bamboo forest. With her help we experienced riding on trains and local buses too that added to our immersion into daily Japanese life.

The seasoned guide made my travel more memorable. An unexpected snowy weather could have made the situation in Kyoto a lot worse without the guide’s deep knowledge of the city to find hidden gems to explore in manageable time slots. I strongly recommend the guide and the service agency.

Snow is not uncommon in Kyoto, but during your visit it was pretty bad.

My tour was great. Out of so many places to visit in Kyoto, the selection of the stops, which included the Bamboo Forest Street, was excellent. But also, the tour guide, Chuji, made the walking interesting and enjoyable. He provided a lot of information and was very kind answering my questions and requests (ex. stop for coffee...). I would certainly recommend this tour.
