This was an amazing tour. Mieko is an incredible guide, very knowledgeable, energetic, and fun. She is a native of Kyoto so she knows the city very well and shared all her knowledge of Kyoto’s landmarks with us. She also gave us great recommendations on restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have picked a better way to explore the city’s wonders. We recommend it for everyone that visits Kyoto. Thank you Mieko!!

This tour is a wonderful overview of Kyoto, but what made it fabulous was our tour guide, Motoko. She has so much energy and enthusiasm for sharing her love of Kyoto with visitors. To help us understand, culture and history and many other items, she had a set of visuals. These were very helpful to understand hierarchies of Buddhist spirituality, and also history of Japan chronologically. We visited temples, gardens, beautiful areas, and typical small shops. Along the way learned so much. Motoko had chosen an excellent place for lunch that was both reasonable and had many options to choose from. By the end of the day, we felt we were friends, not a guests on a tour.
This is a full day tour! We met at nine and, partly due to our large number of questions and long discussions, didn’t finish until 6 PM. You need to be able to walk and jump on and off subways, trams and taxis. Motoko was very good at answering all the questions we had and brought clarity to a number of things we didn’t understand. On the days after our tour, we chose other areas and sites to see with greater knowledge to make good plans.
I highly recommend this trip if you can spare a full day in Kyoto.

Our guide Fujiko really made our time in Kyoto special. Kyoto is one of the most magic cities in the world and Fujiko was able to share the history, special sites, culture and food. We left our day feeling like we gained a much deeper appreciate of all that is Kyoto! Our guide was able to efficiently guide us through the city, sharing with us the significance and history of each location. We were able to deeply experience more in one day than we could have in a week without the help of our new friend.

Had a great time exploring Kyoto with our excellent guide Mieko! As someone who grew up in Kyoto, she was able to take us to all the highlights in a very efficient manner. She did a great job of explaining about the different sites. She also helped us plan how we were going to continue our Kyoto visit. Awesome experience!

This tour covers so much ground that we never could have covered this much in just one day. Trying to navigate the train, tram, bus, taxi, and subway on our own probably would have taken 2 or 3 days. Our guide, Taka, was a wealth of information. Backstories on the sites were insightful. We learned so much on this tour and never felt rushed. Would 100% recommend this tour.

What an amazing day. Kyoto is definitely something special if you want to see and learn about Japans history. Hiro was our guide, and he guided us around while telling us all the related history, he was wonderful. We loved the experience and would recommend it to anyone 10/10.

Our tour guide Tammy was incredible. Very, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and great communicator. She made it very easy to meet her and was very flexible with the schedule, even helping us get back to the residence where we were staying. The tour was fantastic. It is a great tour for a new comer who wants to see the top sites. We took many pictures and enjoyed learning about history and backgrounds of each site. Tammy also took some great pictures using our phone and her phone which she shared with us. We definitely are taking home great memories.

Today we had a wonderful time with KK Kaory-san in Kyoto . She is very professional, punctual , caring , and goes beyond her duties . She makes you feel as a friend who cares and makes sure that you don’t feel lost or uneducated about Japanese history . KK is prepared , and has answers to your questions.
We were able to cover a tremendous volume of information and see most of the important historical places in Kyoto.
KK is a gem you want to have while visiting the historic Kyoto . 😊👍🙏

Wow, your radiant review has made me elated.😍
We partially had to go through wall of people😉but I think we fully enjoyed the top sites of the beautiful and spiritual Kyoto. Thank to you two, I also enjoyed myself the most beautiful season of autumn colors.
