Rutti delivered a fantastic, interesting tour around Osaka’s backstreets that teaches you about a side of Osaka/Japan that is lesser known. I would not have known myself to explore the streets and eating places we went to. The food was from local places (no tourist traps) and was delicious. Would highly recommend for an ‘off the beaten track’ tour. Thanks Rutti!

Dominic was a great guide. He showed us many interesting places and told us fascinating anecdotes about the past and present of Osaka. Would 10/10 do it again! Thank you!

Highly recommend this tour. Nice variety of Shrine tour, food tasting, general background knowledge of the area, some red light spots too. Very well balanced and entertaining.

A very appreciated, enjoyed (the people we met at dinner were amazing!), and important cultural experience but well, maybe not for the faint of heart. The "grit" of Japan to balance out its zen gardens. Our guide was just so amazing. A real local. He really knew how to showcase the colourful culture of his city. He took the time to show us the intricacies of it and answer our questions. Dinner with the locals.... just fabulous! We got to go to one of those spots a tourist would just never know was there! True local experience and flavour. The people were so warm and friendly and the food was amazing (and very plentiful!). Highly recommend! Just really know what you are getting into!

A great tour with tips and knowledge that is not obvious to us tourists. I am very glad I took the tour and regret not also adding the dinner as you can’t change your mind later.

LOVED this tour! We do a food, bike or walking tour on every trip we take and this one was so much fun and so informative. Michael is THE BEST. There’s a little food along the way and an optional dinner at the end. The things we saw and learned are not going to be on your typical tour so we feel very happy that we selected this particular tour.

That was an amazing experience.
thank you very much to Adam, for the quality of his explanations and for his kindness. It's not the first time I come to Osaka, but this tour allowed me to discover new neighborhoods and streets off the touristics area.

My tour started at 5.30 as well. I dont think theres a lot of flexibility with timings. There was a big group when I went so we split in 2 groups. The second group left about 5/10 mins after us, so I would say that's about all the flexibility there is.

Gem, absolutely we have vegetarian options at the final restaurant. Vegetarian yakisoba or okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza). We look forward to seeing you:)
