Andy was a wonderful guide. This was the highlight to our trip to Osaka. The night ended in a karaoke experience that will become family lore.

Andy was our tour guide extraordinaire and took the group down Jan Jan Alley in the Sensakai district. He was really informative and friendly and kept the intimate group of 8 (max was 9) fully engaged on the food, customs and culture ofJapan. While my group was willing to stretch the boundaries of the food we are willing to try, Andy kept the food items quit safe. The 3 hour tour was fun and we would probably not have tried these food choices so thanks to Andy!

A very enjoyable food tour led by Aron - he was incredibly knowledgeable and very funny! The food was equally as good with us trying dishes we likely would have left Osaka having no idea of, so we’re very glad we did this tour. We were also led through the less busy part of town which was very nice for a change and when we did travel to Dotonbori later that evening, we much preferred the area Aron lead us around. It was also a very small group we were in with everyone being super friendly and up for a laugh - as well as a few beers/sakes/shochus! Would recommend this to anyone looking to try out some dishes within Osaka and to see a different part of town! Also, try the plum liqueur at the last place - it was so tasty!

Had a great time on our food tour with guide Kevin! Lots of delicious food and drink and great variety. Kevin was very knowledgeable about Osaka and able to answer our questions. We had a BLAST and would definitely recommend!!

Had a great time trying a little bit of lots of different things that we may not have discovered on our own. Kevin the host was fab - did a great job of explaining everything and making sure everyone was getting the most out of the experience. Plus bonus karaoke.

I am often cautious of food tours in general because I feel that they are very limited in scope and can often be at the will of the group rather then feeling like an individual experience. With that said, I really enjoyed this tour.
First off, our tour guide Brent was awesome! He was well informed, personable and was able to guide the group without forgetting to individually reach out to each of us and make us feel heard and answer our questions.
The food was really good and the portion sizes were shareable and filling. From Oden to Chicken Wings and Karaage to scandalizing comedic desserts it was a very unique and delicious experience.
Overall, I would recommend this tour for anyone who is unsure of where to try various foods in Osaka since the options can be overwhelming with some great food places getting missed because of lack of information. It is also an opportunity to get to know other tourists who you can get along with. Some of our group continued the night bar hopping and I was also able to meet up with some of our party at another location the following day on our own which was fun.

Unsere bunte Truppe hatte einen leckeren, netten und informativen Abend. Der supernette, zweisprachige Guide, führte uns in 5 verschiedene Kneipen und wir aßen alles, was das japanische Streetfood so hergibt. Bei einem unterhaltsamen Einblick in das pulsierende Feierabend-leben von Osakas Stadtteil Dotonbori bestaunten wir die phantasievollen Dekorationen der verschiedenen Themenkneipen, konnten selber Takoyaki (Teigbällchen mit Oktopus) backen und uns davon überzeugen, dass trotz eines manchmal etwas heruntergekommenen Äußeren immer frische und schmackhafte Speisen zubereitet wurden.
