It was super cool to talk to Mark but the places were a bit touristy (tourist groups lining up to come in after us). It was a nice tour but it didn’t feel especially localised? Also i felt a bit overpriced for the amount of food etc you get. The icecream mochi was incredible though, so im glad we tried that. I felt it was a tour for people who’ve maybe never had ANY japanese food in their life before. Overall, glad i did it but i feel there could be better options out there!

My dad, brother, and I had an amazing time on the food tour with Mark. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories throughout the experience. The combination of great food and Mark's engaging storytelling made the tour unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time on the Osaka food tour, thanks to our exceptional host, Kevin. He took us to five unique and interesting restaurants, each offering a different taste of Osaka's vibrant food scene. From local favorites to hidden gems, every stop was delicious and memorable.
What made the tour truly special was Kevin’s deep knowledge of Japan. He shared not only fascinating details about the food but also his personal experiences living in Japan, giving us a richer understanding of the country, its people, and its culture. Took a tour of the Osaka food scene with Kevin, and we had a blast! Tbh when our tour guide was a white guy I had some doubts, but it felt like he knew everyone and was integrated in the community. The food was amazing, and have us a chance to try good beyond the standard sushi & tempura we might have stuck to otherwise.

Great tour done by Kevin. Really amazing food and company. So many awesome stories and information about the local Osaka foods. My favorite was definitely the Osaka style Takoyaki. The balls are so doughy and come our super hot, so be careful. Also I love the hotpot with the raw egg. So many great hidden gems on this tour. Definitely dont miss it on your trip to Osaka.

Our guide Hikaru was fantastic! He took us to various places to try yummy deliciousness! 😋 We laughed and ate our way through a fun evening! Would highly recommend!

Great spots! Delicious food across the course of the evening. We tried some delicious food at restaurants that we wouldn’t have visited otherwise. Would highly recommend! Some really interesting history throughout. Great to have Michael lead us!!

Definitely the best walking tour we have been on. Kevin was an amazing guide. His relaxed style made the tour fun and informative. Our group got along really well which added to the experience. Kevin read the group well and made sure everyone was having a great time. Try everything, don’t hold back. Would highly recommend !

Adam Smith was an incredible guide- knowledgeable and funny. We had great food. Made a lot of great friends along the trip and some of us even went out for karaoke after the tour.

Are Absolute Foodie and Drinks Foodie options all in the same tour group? We would like to book some hungry tickets, and some light tickets, but making sure we go along the same journey.
