A good history and cultural tour.

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was carefully planned out by our knowledgeable guide Tomomi. She has help deepen my understanding of the history and culture of Nagasaki. The 400 plus years old Chinese and Zen temples are interesting, beautiful and well preserved.

Special morning in Nagasaki
Mac was an excellent guide. Warm, well-informed, & very good English. We were lucky to get a sunny day & Mac accommodated last minute requests to change our itinerary to take advantage of the great weather. Highly recommend going to the Observatory if you get a clear day. It will make you appreciate the beauty of Nagasaki. He was born 4 years after the atomic bomb was dropped & has lived & worked in Nagasaki most of his life. It was interesting to hear about both recent & more distant history of the city. A don't miss if you are in Nagasaki.

Amazing Experience

A lovely Nagasaki tour and SO much more!

We were so happy to meet up with Tomomi-San in Nagasaki. I believe it’s always a good idea to meet up with a resident expert to ask about local restaurants, itineraries and general travel questions. Tomomi-San was a wealth of information. Considering the current SOE and all the closures she saved us a lot of unnecessary hardship navigating through sightseeing closures as she called multiple places for us.

Excelente roteiro com um guia excepcional

O passeio é muito interessante mas o ponto alto é a dedicação, a atenção, a boa vontade do guia Masaaki Kinoshita. A tour estava marcada para as 9 horas; chegamos 15 minutos antes e ele ja estava la; como o dia estava bonito ele sugeriu um adendo ao programa que foi uma visita ao monte Inasaya para uma vista panoramica da cidade. O passeio era a pé mas ele pediu a esposa para nos dar uma carona até o teleférico. A visita foi muito bonita; ele com sua atenção e paciencia descrevia cada lugar que se podia ver do alto. Depois a tour de 3 horas e meia foi linda. Mas o mas impressionante foi que no final da tour, as 13 horas, Masaaki se dispos a nos levar na Catedral e no museu da bomba atomica voluntariamente. Imprecionante como a boa vontade e dediccação do guia faz toda a diferença.

Great Tour!

Masaaki showed my friend and I around Nagasaki, leading us to some of the most important historical sights within the city. We visited the Sofukuji and the Kofukuji Temple and learnt about the history of Nagasaki’s interaction with China. We also explored the shopping mall and gazed upon the spectacle bridge. Masaaki was a brilliant tour guide, with excellent English and deep knowledge about the city of Nagasaki from its origins to modern day. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to see all of the sites we wanted to. Thank you Masaaki!
