The photos you see on the net do not give an idea of the beauty of the sea and the coasts of this real tropical paradise about 3 hours from Rio de Janeiro.
Not having many days at our disposal we booked this tour from morning to night organized by the Milleviagens agency that lasts about 12 hours and in addition to transport in a comfortable air-conditioned bus (a bit cold for our taste!) also includes lunch in a simple restaurant by the sea.
The stops for swimming were wonderful especially the one in the Blue Lagoon where you swim with colorful fish.
Price in my opinion very correct and kindness of both the guide Amalia and the boat staff.

We found on Viator this agency with the Italian owners and we were very comfortable in the purchased tour.
Staying only 3 days in Rio de Janeiro we wanted to visit the surroundings and specifically the beautiful and uncontaminated Ilha Grande
The tour is undoubtedly a bit tiring because it lasts all day but the heavenly scenery you can see pays off for the time spent on the bus.
Note of merit for lunch included, simple but tasty.

First of all I must say that in just under a week you can safely visit the main tourist attractions of Rio de Janeiro.
We certainly have an advantage in speaking Portuguese, but using a local agency in Italian is certainly a positive aspect both in terms of optimising time and safety.
Specifically, we booked the transfer to and from the international airport (which to get to and from Copacabana has a price quite aligned with that of Uber-type applications or taxis with the undoubted advantage of having the driver waiting for you with a sign with your name on arrival and therefore you do not have to stress with internet connections or doubts about the correctness of the rates), the walking tour of the Old Town of Rio de Janeiro (which is not listed among the proposed activities and it is very worth doing to know various corners of the city that probably alone we would have feared to visit) and the day tour to Ilha Grande (which includes the bus transfer from Rio to the port of embarkation, boat navigation with 3 stops for swimming in the sea -beautiful Blue Lagoon where you swim among the colorful fish- and a discreet lunch on the sea).
Thanks to Gianluca who patiently followed us during the Reservation and Tours (all on time!)

The tour we did in Brazil touched not only Rio de Janeiro and Ilha Grande but also Salvador and Foz do Iguaçu for a total of 12 days.
The organization by Milleviagens staff and especially Gianluca was very attentive to our needs and with a good value for money.
Very positive the ability to pay in Euro with exchange of the Wise which makes it very easy to purchase.

Ogni giorno ci siamo affidate a questa agenzia per le nostre escursioni a Rio de Janeiro,pertanto tanto sarebbe da raccontare.
Incomincio col dire 2 cose fondamentali
1)non vi scoraggiate se dovrete pagare l'intera somma prima del vostro viaggio, è per motivi di sicurezza, I bonifici sono sicuri, Gianluca è una persona onesta, e non vi appendera' dopo il pagamento per nessun motivo, anzi le sue risposte non hanno mai tardato ad arrivare.
2) I tour di gruppo dispongono di prelievo in hotel solo se il vostro hotel sta in una zona che ha fermate di sosta per i pullman, se cosi non fosse (come nel nostro caso) il punto di incontro sarà fissato in una zona vicina al vostro hotel e non l' hotel stesso. Questa cosa non mi è stata esplicitamente specificata, per questo ci tengo a scriverlo ai viaggiatori futuri.
Che dire? Tutto è stato programmato e filato liscio nei minimi dettagli. Le guide che ci sono state affidate erano molto simpatiche e attente ad accontentarci, Gianluca ci ha seguito (Telefonicamente) per tutta la durata del viaggio, sempre pronto ad ascoltare le nostre esigenze e a preoccuparsi anche di altri aspetti non strettamente collegati alle escursioni (come cambio euro, schede telefoniche etc..). I mezzi di trasporto utilizzati erano tutti nuovi, dotati di aria condizionata, puliti, il tempo dedicato ad ogni punto di attrazione mi è sembrato giusto. Nei tour privati ci si sente davvero speciali in quanto viene realizzata ogni tipo di tua richiesta e si percepisce davvero che l'obiettivo principale delle guide è il tuo soddisfacimento personale (esempio, Antonio, persona squisitissima- la nostra guida in italiano, che di italiano non sapeva granche' ma che ci è rimasto nel cuore per la sua disponibilita' e attenzione nei nostri confronti).
Escursione piu' consigliata: favela (cio' che piu' di autentico c'è) + Angra dos Reis ( con un pranzo che si è tramutato in una magica cena in Riva al mare, con le stelle e il suono delle onde)
Escursione meno consigliata: Foresta da Tijuca (non ci ha impressionato piu' di tanto) e il tour delle spiagge (tour che per la maggior parte del tempo avviene in auto, un po' noioso a nostro avviso)
Ultimo appunto: Gianluca non sposa la filosofia Italiana de 'Il cliente ha sempre ragione', guai a muovergli qualche obiezione, difendera' con le unghie ed i denti tutte le sue argomentazioni, tenere testa al suo carattere peperino e fumantino è stata una sfida piacevole.
Cio' nulla toglie, comunque, alla sua professionalita',onesta ', e cosa piu' importante - presenza.
In futuro, di sicuro, non avrei dubbi a ri-affidarmi a lui, e questa volta tappa obbligatoria:cascate di Iguazu.

Le guide che ci sono state affidate erano molto simpatiche e attente ad accontentarci, Gianluca ci ha seguito (Telefonicamente) per tutta la durata del viaggio, sempre pronto ad ascoltare le nostre esigenze e a preoccuparsi anche di altri aspetti non strettamente collegati alle escursioni (come cambio euro, schede telefoniche etc..). I mezzi di trasporto utilizzati erano tutti nuovi, dotati di aria condizionata, puliti, il tempo dedicato ad ogni punto di attrazione mi è sembrato giusto. Nei tour privati ci si sente davvero speciali in quanto viene realizzata ogni tipo di tua richiesta e si percepisce davvero che l'obiettivo principale delle guide è il tuo soddisfacimento personale (esempio, Antonio, persona squisitissima- la nostra guida in italiano, che di italiano non sapeva granche' ma che ci è rimasto nel cuore per la sua disponibilita' e attenzione nei nostri confronti).

Simpatica gita con 4 tappe.
Durata dalle 11 alle 17.
Tutte soste molto veloci ma d’altronde non sono posti bellissimi.
Bella la Ilha grande nella zona della chiesa di Sant’Anna.
Molto cordiale l’equipaggio.
Il costo di 80 real è in linea con quanto offerto.
Pranzo escluso.
Durata dalle 11 alle 17.
Tutte soste molto veloci ma d’altronde non sono posti bellissimi.
Bella la Ilha grande nella zona della chiesa di Sant’Anna.

Le ramassage au point de RDV était à 8h30. Le bus est arrivé à 9h45, entre temps nous avons appelé l’agence 2 fois qui nous a dit que le bus avait eu un accident. A peine dans le bus, 5 min après, il s’arrête. Nous étions garé sur le côté d’une grande route 3 voies (super dangereux).
PERSONNE ne parlait anglais, la personne qui accompagnait pour l’organisation nous a dit que quelqu’un à l’arrivé parlerait anglais (nous l’attendons toujours).
Nous avons attendu un peu plus d’une heure au bord de la route sans comprendre ce qu’il se passait.
Après plus de 2h30 de retard, nous avons eu un autre bus. Le conducteur avait une conduite très dangereuse avec de forts coups de frein.
Nous sommes arrivés à 13h30 sur les lieux (la journée est déjà bien entamée à cette heure).
Nous avons fait 3 arrêts en mer, le denier c’était sur une plage mais il faisait nuit (aucun intérêt).
Cette excursion est vraiment à fuir, l’organisation est nulle et nous nous sommes vraiment senties en danger. Attrape touriste ! C’est vraiment une honte .... aucun professionnalisme.

NOONE spoke English, the person who was accompanying for the organization told us that someone on arrival would speak English (we are still waiting for it).

After more than 2h30 late, we had another bus. The driver was driving very dangerous with strong braking.
We arrived at 13:30 at the scene (the day is already well underway at this time).
We made 3 stops at sea, the last was on a beach but it was dark (no interest).
This excursion is really to flee, the organization is nil and we really felt in danger. Tourist trap! It's really a shame .... no professionalism.

Diese Tour hat sich wirklich gelohnt, haben zum Beispiel auch bei der blauen Lagune angehalten und mit Booten weiter ans Ziel gefahren. Gute Stimmung- würde ich immer wieder machen

No one told us we needed a yellow fever shot for this tour. We cancelled because it was too risky to go without the shot and we were highly advised by the concierge of our hotel and locals that we knew not to go. Still waiting for our refund from the Tour Company. I hope they do the right thing by refunding our money. If so, I will update this review so it’s not so unfavorable.

Muy linda excursión y muy completa!!!

Buenos días! Quisiera saber si podemos realizar la excursión el 12-1 saliendo de santos Dumont y quedarnos en abraao retornando el día 19-1 ya que tenemos alojamiento allí somos 4 adultos y 5 menores. gracias
