Ver un clásico en Brasil es un espectáculo único. Recomendable para todo aquel que le gusta el fútbol. Tener la precaución de no usar remeras de alguna de las facciones para evitar malos momentos.

Obviously it's good to experience a match at the Maracana stadium, and this was a Rio derby between Fluminense and Botafogo, but for £85 it's too expensive. I've been to a match in Cuiaba which was also a Premier A side, and the tickets are less than £10 (for that match). The hotel pick up in Copacabana involved me getting Ubers just to get to the pick up point as I wasn't staying there, so involved even more expenses. There's no lunch or anything included - just a minibus and a match ticket.

Um für ein Stadtderby an Tickets zu gelangen - im konkreten Fall, ohne brasilianische Steuernummer - erfordert das ein- oder andere Mal auch andere Wege. So, sowie auf Basis des akzeptablen Preises kam es zur Buchung über Gray Line via Tripadvisor.
Die Tour an sich war super organisiert. Ian? unser Guide machte einen hervorragenden Job und dies auf einer freundlichen, empathischen und authentischen Basis - großes Lob an den Carioca!
Während des Bustransfers zum Stadion erhielten wir vom Guide unsere Matchtickets - mit der Option allein das Match bzw. die Rückreise zu bestreiten oder sich in der Gruppe am Weg zum Stadion zu machen. Eine tolle Sache wie ich fand, da das Ganze doch sehr individuell und nach den eigenen Bedürfnissen gestaltet werden konnte.
Da ein Match sowie die Stimmung nicht verallgemeinert bzw pauschaliert werden kann, möchte ich hier nur erwähnen, dass ein Besuch im Maracana definitiv ein Erlebnis für Jedermann/frau sein sollte!
Zusammenfassend kann man für die Tour eine absolute Empfehlung aussprechen, sofern sich die Ticketsituation im Vorfeld schwierig gestaltet oder jemand einen unkomplizierten Weg bevorzugt!

Meilleur expérience à faire au Brésil en sachant que pour les Brésiliens le foot est dans leur sang. Ce match : Flamengo contre Fluminense était incroyable avec une ambiance de ouf et un guide super gentil.

This is the most disappointing and misleading tour I have ever experienced. I strongly recommend to book with another company and NOT Gray Line Tours if you are concerned about your safety and getting to watch the game until the end.
Pick up was organised for 17:10, to which the company arrived 20 minutes late. Once we had finally commenced our journey to Maracana, we were informed by our guide that we would be required to leave 5 minutes prior to the match finishing. The reason he provided was that he “needed to be back in Copacobana by 22:00”. Our guide then proceeded to tell us that the match was not going to be good to watch as the teams are not very good so we wouldn’t be missing out by having to leave early.
Upon arriving at Maracana with a dampened mood, our guide assisted us to the general admission region to which he told us to “find our own seats” and to meet him outside 5 minutes before the game left. He then exited the gate. This is completely contradictory to what is advertised given that it clearly states under the What to Expect heading that we would be “accompanied by your knowledgeable guide at all times.”
At 21:10 our guide came into the stadium and told us it was time to leave, a total of 11 minutes prior to the match concluding. We paid an extraordinary amount of money to not even watch a full game of soccer.
To continue on with our guide not ensuring our safety, at the end of our return journey we were dropped off at the end of the street our accomodation was on, approximately a 200m walk and in front of a restaurant with multiple Flamengo supporters. At the time our guide dropped us off, we were dressed in Fluminense attire (as instructed by the guide in emails prior to game day) and were subsequently harassed by the Flamengo supporters on our walk home.
A very lazy guide and it’s a struggle to call that a guided experience as no soccer knowledge was passed on and we were only in a group/guide environment on the van ride to and from and upon early departure.
It is a waste of money given that a general admission ticket costs BRL 40.00 and a cab BRL 60.00 return. We most definitely did not receive BRL 500 per person worth of safety.

Please know that this is not the experience we want to give to our guests. The guide did this without our consent and will be strongly reprimanded in accordance to our internal policies.
We deeply apologize that this happened on your tour and we can assure that this is not the normal experience we provide in this tour. We always leave after the match ends and the guide does seat with the group whenever possible.
As far as the attire, we did not instruct you to wear Fluminense jerseys. You asked our customer service department which team's merchandise you should purchase to use at the game. As the game was between Fluminense (local team) and a team from outside of Rio, we instructed that you got Fluminense because of it.
We definitely didn't suggest you use any particular attire nor requested it.
We apologize that the experience didn't meet our high quality standards.

A disponibilidade de ingresso para esse jogo está difícil pois por conta da grande procura e dos programas de sócio torcedor das torcidas, fica complicado obter ingresso.

El domingo 24 de febrero me figura disponibilidad para un partido de fútbol en Río, pero no me figura el nombre del estadio. Necesito confirmar si se trata del Maracaná o de algún otro en que se estará disputando el Campeonato Carioca.
Favor confirmar porque sólo me interesa si se trata del Maracaná, de lo contrario tomaría tour al estadio solamente. Muchas gracias

En Brasil las fechas y horarios de algunos partidos solo son confirmados más cerca de la fecha. En el momento estan previstos los partidos de:
Flamengo x Americano el 23 de Febrero
Botafogo x Vasco el 24 de Febrero.
A veces los partidos se invirten y es posible que Flamengo juegue el 24.
Si es el partido de Flamengo va a ser en Maracanã, si es el de Botafogo, se juega en Engenhão y no Maracanã.

Estando en Río de Janeiro no puedes dejar de ir a ver un partido de fútbol en el glorioso Maracaná, el barrio es bastante seguro (hay guardias) y se puede llegar y salir mediante el metro cuya estación conecta hacia la explanada del estadio (el costo del metro es aprox $1 dolar y te lleva sin problemas desde y hasta Copacabana desde donde estábamos alojados), puedes comprar tu ticket mediante internet o en las boleterías del estadio; fuí al partido del 20 de Mayo 2018 de Fluminense vs Club Atlético Paranense donde los locales ganaron por 2 a 0; estuve en Oriente central y el precio de la entrada fué de 50 reales o $15 aprox. y la zona muy cómoda, a mi me gusta sentarme casi al borde del campo para ver todo mucho más cerca y sentir el juego; todo bien adentro del estadio se vende cerveza, agua, gaseosa.
Muy buena experiencia y como escribí muy fácil regresé a mi hotel en el metro desde la estación estadio.
