Our tour guide, Ephraim, was superb. Very Knowledgable and very enthusiastic about his subject and community. We were picked up at our hotel on time and we were then treated to a fantastic tour of Sephardi, Ashkenazi and Reform synagogues and their histories. Also very lucky to visit the Holocaust Memorial on the day it was formally opened.

I went on a tour with Efraim Schvaitzer and it was amazing. His English was very good - I had many questions about the Jewish culture in Brazil and he answered all of them and more. I knew a little going into this tour and feel like I know a lot more now. I would recommend this your to everyone and anyone who wants to know more about Judaism in Rio and all over Brazil. I was fortunate to go to a lot of synagogues, museums and a social club.

Excellent fulfilling cultural tour of the jewish history in Rio and Brazil. We saw multiple synagogues inside and out for all sects of judaism - we had detailed discussions of the significance of each synagogue and the opportunity to see the Torahs and explore each building
The small jewish museum had wonderful menorahs and we got a guided discussion of the key items there -
Overall we could not have had a better experience and highly recommend this to anyone who wants to be in touch with their jewish heritage outside of their country
Our guide was Leonardo and he did an amazing job sharing with us not only the details of the tour but his own personal heritage -
A big Shalom to Leonardo and this company for continuing to keep alive the roots of jewish history in Rio

A wonderful time touring Jewish sites and more with Efraim. From the moment we got into the car he was pointing out sites and giving us information about Rio and Brazilian history. He was easy to understand and very informative. We visited several synagogues. A small Jewish museum and the Jewish club which is actually a fully integrated community center. I highly recommend this tour and Efraim.

Leonardo is an excellent guide. He showed us a number of synagogues and explained the history Of the Jews in the area and interesting things about the city in general. His personal stories about his family and ancestors contributed to the enjoyment of this tour. We would highly recommend that you hire Leonardo and his driver.

Leonardo was an exceptional guide in showing us the important Jewish sites of Rio de Janeiro and imparting his knowledge of the Jewish community in Rio. We appreciated Leonardo's flexibility in doing this tour for us as we were delayed in getting from the airport to the hotel. I highly recommend this tour.

Leonardo was charming. We were very interested in his knowledge and his deep feelings about the synagogues that he showed us. He interjected his own personal experiences with some of the synagogues we visited. Thanks for the pictures that he took of us in several locations....fun to receive them once we were back home.

This was a wonderful tour with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. Leonardo brought the tour to life for us. Would Very Highly recommend this tour. We enjoy seeing Jewish sites as we travel the globe.
