It was an extraordinary experience. Saffo made our day amazing. He was so nice and taking care of us all the time. The beaches, the views, the hiking, the snacks, everything was perfectly planned and we had too much fun

If tour guides competed in the Olympics, Alvaro would sweep the podium with gold medals in "Encyclopedic Knowledge," "Infectious Enthusiasm," and the highly competitive "Making Complete Strangers Feel Like Long-Lost Relatives" category. Our day exploring Rio's beaches felt less like a tour and more like hanging out with your cool Brazilian cousin who happens to know EVERYTHING. Alvaro transformed what could have been just "pretty beaches" into unforgettable stories and experiences.
The highlight: hiking to Pedra do Telégrafo, where Alvaro worked his magic to make us all look like we were hanging off a cliff with superhuman finger strength. I've received nothing but concerned texts from my friends! :-)
Despite being a small group of different nationalities, we got along like old friends—mostly because of Alvaro. He was the social lubricant that transformed strangers into a temporary family. Nothing breaks down language barriers quite like a guide who can make everyone laugh at the same joke.
Alvaro doesn't just do his job—he LOVES his job, and it shows in every sunset photo and every moment he treated us like his own family.
Must-do? No. MUST-MUST-MUST-do. Thanks for the memories, Alvaro!

I have never been on such an amazing tour.

This excursion with Álvaro was one of the best I have done in Rio!!! It is a very attentive person, very helpful, it is in all the details so that each of the participants leave with a unique experience lived!!! What an amazing day! This has to be one of the best tours me and my family have ever been on. Our amazing tour guide Alvaro made sure our day was perfect and to our preference. Not only that but he made sure to connect with us personally to make the day even better. The day was full of fun activities, learning history and great music. What a legend!!

Alvaro was amazing! All was perfect from the begin. He takes care of all of us during all day with a lot of surprises and the pictures are very beautiful. If we’ll come back in Brazil we want to have excursions only with him!this experience is very recommended!

We stayed longer on a few beaches towards the end of the tour and before the hike up the mountain, etc. Definitely worth it!!
