00Wonderful tour!
相对于罗西尼亚贫民窟和阿莱茫贫民窟，圣玛尔塔贫民窟比较安全，这是许多电影、mv拍摄地。贫民窟虽小，但里面足球场、教堂等一应俱全。坐缆车进入贫民窟参观，里面立有迈克尔杰克逊铜像。

Exzellente und sehr sehr informative Favela Tour durch die Favela Santa Marta. Nach unserem Wissen darf nur die "Favela Santa Marta Tour" Führungen durch diese Favela anbieten. Unser Guide hat uns sehr viel interessantes über diese Favela erzählt und erklärt, da war die Info das Michael Jackson sein Video dort gedreht hat nur eine Randnotiz.
Es geht ca 2,5h durch die engen Gassen, vorbei an schwer bewaffneten Patrolien an tolle Aussichtspunkte, eine durch Spenden betriebene Schule und in private Wohnungen. Eine mehr als informative Führung und ein MUSS wenn man in Rio ist.

Excelente tour para llevarte un poco más de data en la visita a Río. Nuestra guía Julia, conoce la favela desde hace mucho tiempo y responde a todas las curiosidades. Recomiendo 100%.

This was a very interesting tour given by locals themselves with a lot of respect to the inhabitants. I learned a lot, and of course the views on Rio were fantastic. I really would recommend this tour

En famille avec deux petites filles nous avons fait cette visite qui restera un des moments forts de notre séjour à Rio. Le guide nous fournit des explications claires et importantes permettant de mieux comprendre la ville et les favelas. On est accueilli chaleureusement. A faire absolument ! Merci à notre jeune guide pour son dynamisme.

This was my first experience in the waters of the Rio Bay and my husband and I had the best time. We booked the the 12pm tour and the trip was vary relaxing and informative on the history of the surrounding area. Our tour guides were warm and welcoming, I recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys sailing on the water and listening to soft tunes.
*I would also note to make sure you wear swimsuits bc there was a portion of the tour that allowed for a swimming moment.

Highly recommend this "Favela Santa Marta" tour. To edge out anyone on your Rio experience, this favela tour (conducted in fluent English -- our tour guide was the fit, charismatic Juliana!), dress light, make sure you're ready for an invigorating hike and open your eyes to a safe, informative and soul-nourishing side of Rio history! You'll see some surprises that fit the phrase "a beautiful chaos" on your way up and back down to 'reality'.

Our tour was amazing, highly recommend. We walked the path of Michael Jackson, and our tour guide Peter (Pedro) was marvellous. We learned a lot of the history about the Favellas and the social issues they represent. We felt entirely safe on the tour. The people were wonderful. Nice little shops and had great conversations with everyone we met. Do not skip this tour! Our home country specifically recommends avoiding the favellas, don’t listen to that advice! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Pedro!

During my trip to Rio, I wanted to visit a favela, because I grew up in a neighborhood in Washington, DC that wasn't on any tourist maps and that Trip Advisor and any tourist blog will tell you never to go. That's the same thing they say about the favelas. And, grant it, without knowing anyone in a neighborhood, and definitely without speaking the language fluently, I wouldn't necessarily just venture into a favela on my own. But, it was important to me to find a guide that was from the community and that offered stories and perspectives from the community, in their own voices, rather than a "poverty/slum safari" (which there are plenty of there). The Santa Marta tour was amazing and highly recommended. Our guide, Pedro, gave us a history of Rio and of Brasil from the perspective of Santa Martans. He clearly respected and was respected by the residents of this community.

Juliana has been the best guide you can imagine. It has been an really awesome tour. You really dive into the life of people living there. You get an awesome insight of daily life with the cable car, community center, children playing in the narrow steps, family life, problems with drugs, gambling, wepons...but also in between small shops and even a few famous people like Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys or Jared Leto have visited the place.
