Excellent! I did a surf trip with Gabriel a grumari, he walked us through all the peaks looking for the best spot and we had a great day! I recommend it!

Gabriel was an excellent teacher. He helped me identify ideal and safe surfing conditions in the ocean. What to look for in the breaks in the waves. The on beach demo for getting to the upright position on the surf board was helpful. As my guide required, I highly recommend stretching before entering the water for your surfing experience!
Gabriel was extremely patient and coached me through nearly a dozen attempts at surfing. Although I only stood up for 2-3 seconds, the lessons learned from wiping out in a variety of ways is where the experience is most valuable!
The photographer was decent. The quality of his photos could've been better (zoom and higher resolution). I also wish he had photos of me wiping out!
Overall, the experience was epic!

It’s the second time I’ve been surfing with Gabriel and it has been amazing! Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been surging before , Gabriel will make your experience the best ever! Couldn’t recommend him enough!

If you are in Rio and want to catch some waves get in touch with Gabriel. He will look after you. He will provide you with all the gear, boards, wetsuit and the local knowledge. Highly recommend it. 🏄♂️

Amazing surf day trip from Rio! Gabriel was awesome guide and picked the best spot for my intermediate to advanced kids surfing. We have served as a family from Australia, Hawaii to Central America, and this was amongst the best surf experience we have had. My wife and I got to hang out at an amazing beach and watch our kids surf. Everything was taken care of including umbrellas, and some light snacks and refreshments. highly recommend this for any group visiting Rio and that want to do something off the beaten path and get a view from another part of Rio.

Gabriel and Guilherme were great teachers and supper attentive. Always giving directions and tips to improve as well as understanding the ocean. My partner and I were really happy throughout the whole process - communication, introductions, classes and even after giving us tips on where to go for açaí. Highly recommend anyone from out of town that want to try surfing, it's nice to have the locals showing you around!

The class was amazing, Guilherme was super patient and attentive. The place he took us to visit later, surreal! We loved it and will definitely do it again.

I was in Rio for my wedding and I wanted to take a few of my friends surfing as none of us have ever gone before. We met Gabriel and his team at the meeting point and took a short walk to beach. We warmed up and were taught the proper technique to paddle out and stand up on the surf board. The surf conditions were a little rough that day for a beginner, but Gabriel and his team were very patient and helpful with us. They took us to lesser known beach after our surf experience that was very cool to see. We were provided with surf boards and wet suites and had an area to change after surfing too. We had a ton of fun and I would do it again! The beach and the location are beautiful as well.
