Great layover tour to spend a few hours to have a brief visit to São Paulo. Our guide Mauro was excellent. He gave us an in-depth explanation of the city . We thoroughly enjoyed his company. Wish we could have him as our guide in the future when we visit SP again.

We had a 9 hour layover in São Paulo and wanted to make the most of it, having never been to the city.
We contacted Gregtur Tourismo through WhatsApp and quickly (and easily) booked our 5 hour tour. Very professional. Quick to respond. And they sent a pdf with all of our guide’s info including a photo.
We were met at arrivals by a third party who had a sign with our name. She accompanied us outside to meet our driver, Renato Goes (pronounced GOYZ). Everything was by the book in terms of Covid protocols as well.
At this point, we would like to give a shout out to Renato. He was FANTASTIC. Read on, but his info is here in case: Renato.goes@hotmail.com +55-11-98193-1785.
Renato took us to the city center where we explored the sites. Truth be told, downtown has a lot of homelessness there but he helped us see the hotspots and avoid the riffraff.
We then viewed the main Avenue ending up in Vila Madalena, an artsy district with Batman Avenue. We hit some art studios, at our request, and then headed off to see their famous parks.
We ended the tour at the museum of art’s rooftop bar that overlooked the city.
The whole experience was fantastic and Renato really made a great effort to personalize it to our desires/wishes. Would strongly recommend the entire experience.

We felt that the guide was organized by a friend and not a tour guide. We took advantage of the layover and we appreciated the best part of the city. Thank you Paul!!!

Mauro fetched us, asked a few questions to find out about us and our interests and then took us to all the things we were interested in seeing. Museums, buildings old and new, the market. Street art. He was knowledgeable, friendly, generous with his time and just generally "nice". Great to be fetched from and delivered back to the airport and use up some of the 14 hours we had to spend there.

We had 10 hours in Sao Paulo and did this great layover tour with Adi Zegman from Salt & City tours. A great way to spend the day and we saw the main sights of Sao Paulo. Adi was an awesome guide and thoroughly recommend this tour. Very convenient to be picked up and dropped off at the airport and plenty of room to carry our luggage with us as it didn't get checked through.

Mauro was there to meet us as soon as we cleared customs and we were off on a tour of São Paulo. We saw a number of different neighborhoods (some arguably more seedy then you would see on a more traditional tour) as well as museums and monuments. He gave us a number of options that allowed us to curate our tour and I would say that one of our best decisions was the Futbol Museum and the Market. He then dropped us off in time to make our flight to Rio! It was a great visit.
