We engaged Victor for a 3-days trip covering Dujiangyan, Leshan and Emeishan in early December. The trip was relaxing and memorable. Victor is indeed professional, knowledgeable and sincere. He shared with us history of the places, among other things, as we traveled and introduced us the various types of local dishes especially those in Leshan that were so unique and delicious. Another highlight of our trip is the stop over at the Tea House - what a unique experience. Thanks to Victor for making our trip memorable! Highly recommended for those who are planning to visit this lovely city!

We spend a wonderful day with Victor visiting the Leshan Buddha. He is very knowledgeable and willing to share his insights on today’s China. Fulltime recommend to anyone.

Like other reviewers, we went to a Sichuan teahouse and the Giant Buddha with Victor. The teahouse is great and strange at the same time. Great because it is authentic with beautiful old wall paintings and there are around 100 authentic Chinese old men hanging around there drinking tea, chatting and playing cards. Strange because you are in an other world, your not the only photographer and some of the old men even like to pose for your perfect picture. Strange combination but still definitely worth going there because this kind of teahouse is fastly disappearing.
We actually did the trip because of the Giant Buddha in Leshan. We took the boat to see it from the water. We were lucky because the day before the site was closed because of heavy rainfall and also this day the stairs down from the Buddha were still closed. But Victor advised us to do the boat trip anyway because the queue at the stairs is normally terrible.
All together a great trip in a comfortable car. Victor is the driver and guide together. His English is among the best we have heard in China. He is energetic, friendly, knows a lot about the sites and the area he comes from (He is originally from Leshan and now lives in Chengdu). You can ask victor anything you like and he knows all the answers. He can even recommend places to go and eat in Chengdu if you like.
I would recommend this trip with victor to everybody!

Loved our day with Victor, very knowledgeable and great experience. Lovely day in China.would do it again. In fact we are using Victor’s company in Beijing.

Victor did a spectacular job giving my husband and I a rich tour on Sichuan's overlooked areas. The tea house was special because it held so much history, background and real Communist Propaganda still left on its walls. The locals were so friendly and welcoming. Also, it is not an easy trek to the Leshan Buddha, but Victor managed to drive us from our hotel in downtown Chengdu, to the teahouse, then to Leshan which was about two to three hours away whilst giving us an informational and humorous tour. He is kind, professional, knowledgable and it is clear he loves his job. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Victor is a great guide! We had a great day and we learned a lot about the places we visited and also about Chinese history and culture. Victor is a very knowledgeable guy, I would recommend the tour to anyone.

Our driver/guide picked us up from the hotel lobby. The car was comfortable and in good condition. Our guide spoke very good English (which is not the case with most people we've met). He took us to a small town outside of Chengdu where we walked the local market and stopped at an ancient, local teahouse. This is photographers' paradise. You get lots of time to take pictures, have tea and admire the local life.
From the teahouse we drove to Leshan. We went on a public holiday so there was - on top of some roadworks - a lot of traffic. Once in Leshan we took a boatride to see the giant Buddha. Simply stunning. As there were too many people we didn't walk down the buddha, which is a pity but still we are impressed.

I'm a VERY experienced traveller and photographer. From Somalia to North Korea to Afghanistan. I've seen it all. But this photo experience @ 6am inside an authentic Sichuan tea house with really old men and Red Army propaganda all over the darkly lit walls was simply incredible. A photographers dream. This was one of the best places I have ever been for really dramatic photos. Don't even hesitate! It's not touristy at all. Ask for Victor as your guide. Extremely kind and friendly guide
