Plitvice Lakes was an amazing place to visit, very busy however. I felt what we paid for our tickets was too much. It appeared there were cheaper tickets available when we arrived however the tickets are required to be pre-purchased.

Easy to book but a bit confusing about having to exchange my booking for a ticket . This was actually easier than I thought. You just show the booking at the ticket office at the park. I had the impression I had to exchange it at a tour office before . Lovely quieter time of year to visit in October.

A trip was organized by a train and boat drive and we really loved all that natural sights through different transport vehicles. We didn't regret any cent spent on that ticket! We deeply felt connected with wild nature without any urban rush! Our whole day was organized via different transports or walking and followed by pleasant services from local restaurants and service workers.

An excessively high entry Award, unpleasant staff, a glaring lack of information. Of course, the lakes and waterfalls are beautiful but this park is an organized scam.

Plitvice Lakes National Park.
It is important to buy the ticket in advance, check that access is better if the 1 or 2 since they are far apart from each other.
On the other hand, you will find the price high, per adult 40 € but let me say that it is the best money spent since you will see something AMAZING.
The Park takes you along perfectly constructed wooden and gravel paths, over waterfalls, lakes, rivers and forest.
Along the way you will run into viewpoints, waterfalls of all sizes, each with its particular beauty, lakes with transparent water that allows you to see the different varieties of fish, the forest with its bushy vegetation in different shades of greens, trees that their trunks have grown with whimsical and beautiful shapes.
All this you can appreciate with the support of their trucks, boats and attentive staff that is always ready to attend.
There is no shortage of places to enjoy a rich meal and cafeteria.
What if I saw wrong is the issue of ladies bathrooms, there are quite few in different areas of the park and I warn you that there may be fifty women "urgently going to the bathroom" before you, so as advice..... "don't hydrate", wait to finish your tour.
Calculate well the time you have, (hopefully you have at least six hours) to relax, enjoy the aromas, beauty, colors and climate offered by this beautiful place.
As a Recommendation, you can stay in one of the hundreds of rooms that are rented around the park, the truth is a very nice area and worth enjoying its peace, friendliness, comfort and environment.

Beautiful varied walk in a very nice area / nature on well-passed paths. Luckily it was not too crowded and warm so you could walk at your own pace. With high temperatures and lots of people, it will definitely give a different experience.

The lake landscape is magnificent, but quite crowded in the summer season.
In the park there are far too few toilets, or toilets at too few points.
This leads to the fact that some "guests" are forbidden to do their necessities in the landscape and leave their used and hardly rotten tempo handkerchiefs after the moth "out of sight - out of mind".
One wonders what kind of Nature Guides they are.
How about when Booking Referral visitors are made aware of the poor toilet location and the possibility to take e.g. sealable plastic bags to transport their unsightly garbage to the next disposal facility.
You could also sell such bags at the entrance.
Also, in high season, you could think about a daily admission limit. This would be good for the nature in the park and undoubtedly improve the experience.

The park is well-kept and beautiful, but can only inspire wonder if you have never seen such a scenery before, otherwise it is just a pleasant trip.
The 8 o'clock entrance guarantees not too crowded.
Completely useless the train ride, passes in the woods and you can not see anything. Cute but not indispensable boat ride.
Entering from 'entrance 1 the most interesting part is all in the first kilometers on foot.
In my opinion it costs too much compared to what it offers.
Recommendation to enter with the 'last available time that allows you to have a discount.
The 8 o'clock entrance guarantees not too crowded.

It is a beautiful natural park with spectacular lakes.
It has two entrances; the second is less crowded and they have several routes planned. With the H, from entrance 2 you can see the upper and lower lakes, along with the large waterfall. The duration is 5 hours approx.
There were a lot of people and you had to queue up to catch the boats and buses.
I guess the best time to visit is spring because the waterfalls will have much more water. Still, it is worth the visit.

Bjr, logiquement, il est possible de réserver bien à l avance et si vous avez le calendrier qui apparaît sur le site pour choisir votre date, aucun problème alors. Surtout, n oubliez pas d arriver bien à l avance par rapport à l heure d arrivée que vous aurez choisi.

Hi, je hoeft niets uit te printen. Bij de ingang kunnen ze de QR code (barcode) scannen die je ontvangt als je een kaartje besteld.

There is a hotel inside the park but there is nothing to do for 2 days. I think one day is good. Perhaps the second day go to do some rafting or you can do bicycle or go to Slunj there is also water fall to visit, you can find nice hotels near by.
