Such a beautiful and informative tour! We started in Porec where Miraslova(sp?) gave us a wonderful history summary and then let us explore on our own. The Mosaics in the church were incredible! Then we toured Groznjan and Motovun. I could have spent a day in each beautiful town but this was a good tour to whet my appetite for a longer visit! We had a large group and everyone loved it!

What a great day we had with Mateo. He is full of energy, passion and enthusiasm to show us all he loves about the Istrian peninsula. We visited a number of wonderful sites, enjoyed a great lunch at a local winery, and we highly recommend you look him up at mateo@krug-travel.com. Enjoy your time with him and this great experience.

Taking a wine tour with Krug travel is like hanging out with your best friends--if your best friends were super-cool Croatian tour guides with tons of knowledge about history, culture, and...yes...wine. Marko and Matteo immediately make you feel welcome in Istria, and their noTourist itineraries and relationships with winery and restaurant owners make you feel like a local. I traveled with a group of friends and we had a great time eating, drinking, and laughing. You will too!
