A peek beneath the surface of this bustling city

I had a day layover in Guayaquil, so booked the 3 hour tour. Jaime was excellent. His English was good. He was smart, knowledgeable and patient. He's a retired pilot and now an artist by hobby. He took us to notable paintings in the museum and to sculptures outdoors. Naturally, we also visited a beautiful cathedral, an old neighborhood, and the famous Iguana Park.

Enjoyable tour showing the highlights of the city

We were impressed with our guide's, Corina, knowledge of the city and her English skills. Plus, the fact she self-taught herself in a total of three languages. We enjoyed our tour and gave us a good layout of the city. We felt very safe.

Fantastic tor and tour guide.

The best part of our experience was sour tour guide Walter. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about all things Quayaqui. History, politics, weather. I could go on and on. He had a lovely helpful personality and was a pleasure to listen to and ask questions of. Really the best tout I have ever been on.

Guayaquil revealed

Guide was very knowledgable and passionate about his City. Great climbing the 444 steps. Iguana park, city hall and the cathedral were defiiate highlights.

Conhecendo a história de Guayaquil

Fizemos o City Tour na parte da manhã, nosso guia foi o Cristopher, um rapaz muito simpático, que ama e conhece muito bem a história do Equador e que fala em português! Conhecemos o Malecon, Parque do Seminário, prédios históricos, monumentos e o bairro Las Penas. É importante conhecer esses lugares com um guia, pois existem particularidades que nem nos damos conta, se visitarmos sem um guia. Achamos que valeu muito a pena esse city tour.

Interesting and fun

Francisco gave an excellent tour of Guayaquil with opportunities to walk around and see places. He shared history and anecdotes to give an in-depth tour. Adrien was the driver who also had interesting info to share. We got great restaurant recommendations from them.

beautiful Guayaquil

Christopher escorted us around the city. He was well informed about the history and culture. He was energetic and caring and well spoken. He has a passion for the city and the country and it rubbed off on us. This was our first visit to South America and it was a great introduction. He showed us the historic sites, explained the history, showed us shopping and eating locations, discussed the safe and unsafe areas of the city and just had a passion for the country and it's beauty and culture.

Conozca el centro comercial de la ciudad

A poco alejarse del malecón, visita obligada al estar en Guayaquil, nos encontramos con la ciudad que trabaja y se desplaza.Lugar de oficinas,bancos , restaurantes y mucho comercio. Habia estado en Guayaquil un par de veces, pero visitando lugares emblemáticos como el malecón o plaza lago. Esta vez quise ir al centro comercial de la ciudad y es muy ordenado, tranquilo y uno se encuentra con la gente propia de la ciudad, alejado del concepto turístico habitual sugerido.Me gusta también este tipo de turismo.
