We had the best time on our tour with this company! We were a bit nervous traveling in India, especially with an early morning pickup in the dark with a 4 hour drive, but we were so happy with the results.
We were picked up at 2 am by our driver, Vivek, who later turned out to be a lifesaver later in the day! Vivek was a safe driver who got us swiftly from Delhi to Agra, despite heavy fog we could barely see through.
When we got to Agra, we were a bit early, and we were able to wait in the hotel lobby. It was much colder than we expected - apparently January in India is colder than we thought! - so this was a welcome retreat indoors.
Our tour guide arrived and was super accommodating. Instead of taking us back to Delhi, we had arranged for our driver to bring us to our next location, Jaipur, for an additional charge. In order to do that we'd have to skip some of the afternoon activities, and when we ran that by our guide, he was receptive.
We were dropped off at the Taj while it was still dark and made the walk up to the ticket line. Rocky, our guide, smoothly got us tickets and we were practically the first people in line at our gate.
As soon as we walked in, Rocky was a WEALTH of knowledge. He told us so much about the building and its history, and answered all of our questions in so much detail. He knew exactly where to stand for the best pictures at the best times and was basically our instagram boyfriend for the next few hours. It was great! He was so helpful getting us from area to area for the best pictures and experience before the real crowds arrived.
When it was time to leave, Rocky collected us and we headed back to the hotel for breakfast. Excellent food, so many options (and I have Celiac) and the staff was very friendly.
Before we headed out to Jaipur, we agreed to have Rocky bring us to some of the vendors and shops for some history of marble, tapestries, and other artisan crafts. No one was too pushy and we were able to leave on time to get to our next desintation before dark.
10/10 RECOMMEND, THIS TOUR WAS AMAZING!
