Vikas was an absolute gem! I’m so happy he was my guide! He was my literary my saviour of the day! Besides that he’s a great guide, very knowledgeable and knows how to take great pictures, he’s super friendly and helpful with everything! I’ve had a lot of trouble after our tour with the taxi that I’ve booked and he was next to me helping sorting everything out even after our tour was done! He’s above and beyond! The perfect guide for anything you might need!

My fiancé and I were initially against getting a guide - we figured we were smart enough to navigate the Taj Mahal by ourselves - but when our Uber dropped us off from Delhi at the entrance, we didn’t have Wi-Fi, cell reception or even understand where we were supposed to go. I about had a meltdown.
Enter Vikas. Vikas waltzed up to us speaking perfect English and offered to help us get into the Taj Mahal even if we didn’t hire him. He got our tickets in a snap, whisked us through the entry line and helped us breeze through security. We felt like VIPs.
Once we were inside he knew exactly where to go and more than that, the best locations for photos. I fancy myself a decent photographer with my DSLR and 16-85 lens, but Vikas was taking better, more professional shots for us with my fiancé’s iPhone. These shots made my fiancé feel like the prettiest girl at the ball AND they’re good enough to be our engagement photos.
His knowledge on the Taj and Agra Fort was mind-blowing. He taught us the history of both and the entire backstory of the Greek Tragedy that provides the foundation for why the Taj Mahal exists in the first place. Additionally, fun facts about the architecture. For example, there is no painting on the Taj Mahal; it is all carved gem stones. Another - there are gems in the Taj Mahal that light up when hit by sunlight and others that illuminate when hit by moonlight. Facts about the Agra Fort were equally impressive.
At the end of the day, he booked us a car back to Delhi that was significantly nicer than our Uber with a driver who was more caring.
Even though we didn’t book with Vikas in the beginning, he took care of us so that this trip that could have been a disaster ended up being one of the most memorable days of my life.
Regarding COVID, he and his team were double vaxed and always wore masks.
I cannot recommend Vikas enough. Stop comparing to other tours - book him now!!

Been to Taj Mahal a few times but every time we come we get mesmerised by the beauty of the place and this time we visited it during the Sunset time, it was a great experience and our guide had good in-depth knowledge of the place.

Vikas yadav is a very wonderful guide. Thanks to him we have knowledge abt history of Taj mahal. And also thank to him we have wonderful pictures. He is really an excellent photographer. We are very happy to have him with us. Thank you Vikas.
