I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience this was. JD and his family welcomed us into their lovely home and taught us 5 dishes and many authentic cooking techniques. It was clean and well organized. The food we made and ate together was delicious. I look forward to giving the dishes a go at home.

JD is fantastic. It is more than a cooking class, it is an insight into a real Indian home and family life. JD is well travelled, has excellent english and is both entertaining, funny and insightful. The lesson was well thought through and patiently delivered. JD is a third generation restaurateur, a true professional and we learnt to cook the food that his grandparents cooked. The focus is on the cooking process rather than cutting up and measuring spoonfuls. All the recipes are supplied and he food was delicious. I highly recommend JD at Art of Indian Cooking.

We had the most amazing experience. Our hosts were friendly, answered our questions and very down to earth. The food we created was exceptional (even if we do say so ourselves). We are definitely going to make up our own spice tin and have a go! Thanks for an incredible evening and experience.

JD has so much knowledge and experience. I think he is destined for international celebrity cook status. A wonderful character who has worked in his family restaurants and other leading establishments. He has travelled extensively and is clearly highly skilled and is dedicated to perfection. He has a wonderful personality and great teaching methods. I own a couple of restaurants and love cooking. I cook "Indian food" at home, but I have never been able to make a curry that tasted this authentic and good. Top ingredients and great education about the spices, methods and the culture behind it all.

Had a lott of fun doing this course and learnt alott at the same time! The host JD had alott of positiv energy and is a really nice guy. The food was also amazing and there is no need to worry about food poisoning, as it is very clean snd sanitary. Would definetly recommend spending your evening taking this food course!

if you are in Delhi for just one day, make time in your itinerary for this class!
Jd and His family create a warm, welcoming environment. He gives cultural context for the dishes and provides clear cooking instructions in a calm and patient manner. He had many things measured or prepped in advance so we could focus on the techniques and skills of Indian cooking and could walk away knowing how to create four or five separate dishes. At the end of the night we sat down to a lovely meal with the family that we had helped cook and walked away feeling we had made new friends in New Delhi.

Everything was perfect! JD and his parents were great hosts and we learned a lot about making a perfect Masala Chai. By the way, this was very tasty, just like the traditional breakfast we got. If you are visiting New Delhi you must definitely book this experience with JD. I can highly recommend it :)

The Chai Master Class was such a nice experience! The Host, JD, was so friendly and funny and the chai so delicious! We also got a nice typical Indian breakfest from JD‘s Dad. After the lesson I bought all the spices for the Chai to try it at home again because i loved it. Thanks also for the nice conversation JD! I would absolutely recommend this event.

JD and his family are so nice hosts. I really enjoy the evening and now I know how to cook amazing Indian food. At JD´s it is also possible to buy Indian spices. I can only recommend.
