This is my third outing With Jack And Hill Adventures, and all have been exceptional experiences.
It is so refreshing to leave Mumbai for the countryside, and enjoy a day trekking. Our guide once again was Samuel Corda, who is an experienced outdoorsman, extremely knowledgeable, conversant, and engaging… and an expert naturalist as well! In addition to a beautiful track, we learned so much about the floor and fauna in this area of India .
It is so refreshing to leave Mumbai for the countryside, and enjoy a day trekking. Our guide once again was Samuel Corda, who is an experienced outdoorsman, extremely knowledgeable, conversant, and engaging… and an expert naturalist as well! In addition to a beautiful track, we learned so much about the floor and fauna in this area of India .

As a nature and adventure enthusiast the recent trek Cafe Ideal was indeed an ideal escape from Mumbai's maddening crowd,overwhelming traffic and social media influencers.. An enthralling forest trail experiencing nature at its best... A virgin forest in the truest sense. Calm, serene, untouched and unexplored....it was truly magical and cinematic.
Thanks Jack&Hill Adventures for such a healing forest walk to create lasting peace and serenity.

Always great to do a trip with Johann and his team. There unique spots free of crowds and litter and their super friendly hosting is a great combination

Johaan was a great guide for our hike in Mumbai! He was knowledge and took into account any requests to ensure we had an enjoyable hike.
We also visited the local villagers and he recommended a great stop afterwards for a well deserved post hike tea/ coffee!
Great guide, super friendly , recommend Jack and Hill to anyone wanting to explore and see the picturesque break from the city.

Travelled solo to Mumbai for work and booked this hike for a Sunday.
Early start but highly recommended to anybody who loves hiking. Despite being summer, so not as green as monsoon, incredibly scenic and a great opportunity to see rural India too
Johann is a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and easy conversation. He goes at the pace of the walker and very respectful of nature and the way of life of the villagers.
We didn’t see anybody else other than the villagers on our hike. This isn’t mass market which adds to the experience.
Highly recommended! Great memories!

This guided hike departs from a small rural village and ascends through varied ecosystems including open savannah and richly forested areas. A vigorous hike up to an old Hill Station... the only other people we encountered were a few villagers going about their daily routines.
Sam Corda, my guide, is an enthusiastic outdoorsman with a wealth of experience and knowledge to share.
