We saw Jaipur by night, which we would not have explored together with our four children (aged 7, 10, 11 and 13). Thanks to Umesh we looked down on the busy streets from rooftops and also walked through all the old bazaars. They girls especially loved trying on turbans and wedding dresses. The street food we tasted was so delicious and really filled us up, obviously the kulfi was the biggest hit with the children. Umesh used every opportunity to help us to engage with locals and at the end we even were special guests at a birthday party.
We also included a visit to the Gala Ji Temple (known as Monkey temple) at the beginning of tour, which Kushar especially tailored to our wishes.
Thank you Umesh for making sure, we arrived safely back at our hotel in the dark, we felt so well looked after by you.
We are so grateful, having met Umesh and can only recommend this tour from the bottom of our hearts

We truly enjoyed our tour with Omesh - he is very passionate and personable. We heard great stories and history throughout the tour. I felt so informed about Jaipur's history and culture. We tasted local foods, went through shopping streets, craftsmen and all the other hidden treasures of Jaipur! Finish with the night time view from the rooftops of the pink buildings. A must do tour when in Jaipur!

This tour gives a great insight into the lives & livelihood of the people in Jaipur. We had a great tour with Umesh through the artist’s streets, through the wedding dress shop streets & into little hidden gems throughout the city. We also ate like a local throughout the whole tour, trying different sweet foods & snacks that Jaipur has to offer!

I booked onto the 3 hour morning cycle in advance of my trip, but once in India decided I'd get a better feel for the cities I visited through tours (and would feel more comfortable as a solo female), so booked the evening walk on the same day. I had the same guide as in the morning - Umesh - and it was only me on the tour. Umesh knows so much about the city and the culture of India and he loves to tell a story so you get a real insight into the life and history of the country, way beyond what you'd read in a guidebook. He also talks to and engages everyone so you feel totally comfortable and not like you're intruding on people's lives.
I have to say - it's a lot of street food for one day!! But so worth it. I highly recommend doing this tour, or the morning one - or both!

This tour gave me a peculiar experience of Jaipur (mainly old Jaipur city) and I could meet real heroes behind great sculptures, art and Jaipur tradition. Umesh our guide himself maintained enthusiasm throughout the tour and although we exceeded time, both Umesh and his other partner did great to take care of us. Having local food tasting during the tour was one of the highlights for me among other things.

A fantastic experience to see Jaipur at night. My guide was Umesh Gautam. A fantastic guide who is a local of Jaipur. He showed me so many places in the old part of Jaipur that I could never found them by myself. We saw the places that they make the statues of different Hindu Gods. We tried so many fantastic, food and dessert. He knows all the places that food is safe and fresh so trust him. you won’t get sick. Don’t miss out on the food. He explains everything very well. He’s very knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking the tour with him.

Our guide Umesh took us around Jaipur at night and honestly we saw every corner of the city in the most authentic way! It was incredible. We mixed with the locals, learnt about the culture, history and religion. We tried every street food there was, savoury and sweet. Umesh took us to hidden gems and made us laugh the whole time. Don’t just see Jaipur in the day, see it by night too!! You won’t be disappointed.

Archid took us on a very informative, fun and tasty journey through the markets of Jaipur in the evening. We visited many types of stallholders, and his explanation of the food, traditions and history of the food and city. Excellent tour, one of the best that we have done in India or elsewhere.
