Trafalgar Tours incorporated this amazing experience with Chandrika Rathore into their outstanding tour of India's Golden Triangle. It was one of the highlights of our holiday! The welcome and warmth we were given in this wonderful home was exceptional. Chandrika's modeling of the different dishes was done flawlessly, and she made it seem so simple! She invited us to participate, as she cooked, mixing it with her warmth and delightful humor! Afterwards, we dined on our modeled dishes and more wonderful delicious ones that she and her staff had made. The whole evening flew by and offered us an additional layer to our experiences in India, as we became immersed in the local cuisine and culture of Jaipur. Thank you, Chandrika, to you and your staff for all you did to make this such a memorable event in our lives.

This was one of the highlights of my visit to India.
I was whisked through the country at break-neck speed and never got the opportunity to speak to many people.
I have experienced 'home visits' in other countries - but this was unique in that I felt so very comfortable to ask questions - and to answer those asked of me! It was a thoroughly relaxing experience.
I've always loved Indian cuisine (the meal was delicious) and I am so grateful to Chandrika for her generosity in sharing her tips and her recipes.
I would recommend a visit to anyone.

On a recent trip to India, we were fortunate to visit the Ikaki Niwas family in Jaipur to learn about Indian cooking and enjoy a delicious evening meal. Our wonderful host Chandrika warmly welcomed us into her family home. Chandrika presented an excellent practical cooking demonstration followed by a lovely meal and provided us with a fascinating insight into her family life and Indian culture. We highly recommend this activity and rate it as one of the best things we did on our action filled month long holiday in India!

What can we say!
The hospitality and cooking experience was wonderful. The host, Chandrika was very warming and a joy to meet. We were given a drink of our choice on arrival and welcomed into the home. It was a small group, which was perfect for us. During the cooking demonstration we were given snacks to keep us going and had the opportunity to ask questions. We even had the opportunity to make our own Chapatti, although my skills needed greatly improving on but was fun!
This should be a MUST on the to do list whilst visiting Jaipur. Would highly recommend.

My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening spent watching the cooking demonstration, and eating the wonderful food. All the details that had been thought of were fantastic!! I loved the very warm welcome with the flower petals being sprinkled over us as we arrive. Chandrika and her sister-in-law were very welcoming when we first came in, and told us a little bit about themselves, their family and the home.
Chandrika's home is beautiful, and the surroundings were very comfortable. I really enjoyed the cookery demonstration. Her guidance was very clear, and made me think that I could create the dishes at home too. I loved everything that I tasted, it was all very delicious. It was a perfect evening and the service from her staff was exceptional too.

On a recent tour of India my partner and I were lucky enough to visit the beautiful city of Jaipur, and whilst there took the opportunity to spend a very entertaining evening with Chandrika at Ikaki Niwas.
The evening was a delight from start to finish. Delicious food, excellent company and beautiful surroundings.
Chandrika took us through several recipes which we were only too eager to try out, and which Chandrika was happy to share with us.
We wish her and her family well for the future.

I have never been to India before, so this was a very interesting first time.

The cooking course conducted by Chandrika Rathore in Jaipur was a privilege and a most enjoyable cultural experience in her parents original family home, now a B&B, into which we were all warmly welcomed by Chandrika who has a relaxed and most pleasant style. Wine, great food and excellent company. The presentation, group engagement, and hands on involvement was first class and I can not recommend this experience highly enough. A fantastic night & great recipes to try when you get home.

I and my wife were lukcy to come across Chandrika during our memorable trip around Rajastan.
We spent a lovely evening at Ikaky Niwas, Chandirka's family home and cosy B&B.
We admired Chandrika's skills during her entertaining cooking demonstration, we tried ourselves to cook Indian chapati and then we savoured an exquisite dinner in the pleasant company of Chandrika and her husband.
We had the best of our time that night, visiting the little family temple, getting to know authentic Indian culture and learning some good tips of Indian cuisine.
We would definitely recommend Chandrika's Cooking Demonstration and Dining to anyone who wants to get the best out of a visit to the wonderful city of Jaipur.
