Thanks again !!
We just got back from a visit to Georgetown and really had a great time. Lots of clear detailed information about everything and it was really funny.
I definitely recommend it if you want to discover a typical Chennai neighborhood and really immerse yourself in Indian culture.

GREAT way to explore Chennai

My fiancé came to Chennai on business and I decided to tag along for a holiday. While he was at the office, I wanted to get out and explore the city but felt a bit overwhelmed at first. Thanks to the great travel advice of a friend, I started looking for walking tours. We found StoryTrails and booked the Bazaar tour on a day he had off to do together. It was fantastic! Our guide, Shobana, was very knowledgeable and even incorporated some humor into her stories about the bazaar. The colors and smells of the market were so vibrant! We had such a wonderful time and StoryTrails provided such a great experience that I booked a second tour solo later in the week - the Peacock Trail. My guide, Karunya, was so pleasant and had seemingly never ending stories to tell me about the sights we explored together. Her passion for storytelling was abundantly clear. I HIGHLY recommend StoryTrails as wonderful, approachable introduction to Chennai. Their tours are TOP NOTCH!

Incredible Tour!

Highly Highly recommend this tour. We saw a lot, learned a lot and our guide was phenomenal! Shogana was extremely knowledgeable, respectful tour guide.

Bazaar Delights in "Black Town"

Captivating and Illuminating
The technique of telling stories about the market food and flowers as we walked through the smells sights colours and tastes of india was inspiring. Great guides magnificent english fantastic acoustics and hilarious & informative stories. Its a must , i have been to chennai many times but never had the clarity offered by the tour guides

Despite being quite weary after only arriving in Chennai from the UK that morning, we thought this tour was excellent, especially as we were the only two participants. A really interesting tour round an area we wouldn't have gone to on our own - thank you!

Amazing and very tasty experience in Chennai

Excellent food and cultural tour with Lakshmi through the bustling streets of St. George. We learned so much, ate so much, and had so much fun! Lakshmi is an excellent teacher and story teller. Money well spent and an unforgettable memory for our family.

Excellent tour!!!
I recommend this tour to all those people who like the very real life of local people. If you are in Chennai you cannot back home without visiting this wonderful market with the delicious Ms. Laskshmi.
