I really enjoyed the tour and got some really good photos, but this is a great way to spend a morning even without a camera. This isn't another generic, cookie-cutter tour of Kolkata attractions. Manjit shows you fascinating parts of the city you probably wouldn't find otherwise. He also provides a ton of history and context, and best of all, he seems to know all of the locals along the way, adding a terrific human dimension. Highly recommended.

Manjit has made a name for himself and rightly so as he has a charm about him through story telling as we strolled through his own neighbourhood of Kolkata. This kind of experience is impossible without local knowledge and he has it in spadefuls. Opportunities abound for capturing some spectacular photographs of this unique part of the world.
Highly recommended.

The calcutta kalidescope photo tour was an amazing experience. Manjit knows his city like the back of his palm. He gave meaningful and intricate details of the culture and history of calcutta and its various ethenic groups. The three hours photo tour was worth every moment and every penny spent. Had some lovely captures which otherwise would have been rather impossible. His rappot with the locals is amazing and which makes them very approachable for candid pictures.
A highly recommended tour to take when in Calcutta... certainly not to be missed. I would go on more walks with him when i am here next.

This is a tour I would truly recommend to anyone. Starting early in the morning, we experienced the city of Kolkata waking up in amazing areas of the city that me and my wife would otherwise have missed. It was a great opportunity to see the amazing mixture of religions and people that dwell in the city. Remember to taste the delicious food!
Also, it was a pleasure to meet Manjid who was a great and knowledgeable guide!

This was a really wonderful tour and a great way to start a Kolkata morning. Manjid is a great, charismatic guide, with a wealth of knowledge of the areas you're taken and Kolkata in general. I'd highly recommend this tour.

I would recommend the photo tour hands down.
Although I grew up in what was then Calcutta, I realize now how little I know about the city. Most of the places we visited were new to me.
Manjit is an entertaining and knowledgeable guide and, most importantly, has a rapport with the locals.
I will certainly be back for more.

All the previously excellent reviews were correct. This was the perfect way to start our time in Kolkata. Manjid was the best guide. I couldn't recommend him enough. Great food, access to places I wouldn't have walked into and an entertaining host. He loves this city and it made us fall in love with it too.
It was a highlight of our stay, if we could have booked him for the whole five days we would have.
